I keep completely writing off the possibility of Sansa being anything more than the Lady of Winterfell and/or Wardeness in the North, but gotta admit I'd enjoy seeing her take the Iron throne.
Drogon dying because of a wildfire explosion in KL ties in nicely with my idea that his death would mirror Tommen’s.........
If there is a throne at the end, Sansa is the only person left who makes sense to be on it. I still lean toward there not being one ruler by the end, but I’m not sure in what context (either by total destruction and schism or joint decision for the realm.)
Yeah I'd def be interested in a 'democracy' type end where the country is run by like a council of lords/ladys or something like that. But that means both Jon and Dany die, or Jon wants no part of being king and pulls a Maximus/Gladiator where his first and only act as King is to dissolve the monarchy and turn it over to a 'senate'.
Now that I’m home from work, I’m looking at the memes again and the memes...are good. My buddy filled up my dm inbox today all day so now I get to scroll through them and find gems like this:
From what we know of wildfire, it burns much much hotter than regular fire, it’s more a chemical fire than traditional I think.
If Jon makes it to the throne that is the exact and only thing he would do. I don’t know if he’ll even get to that point, but he would be out of there before the seat had even cooled from Cersei.
Yeah true...though again I do think there's a lot of Ned/Stannis in him where he might feel like it's his "duty" to do it whether he wants to or not, or at the very least he could be talked into doing his duty by Sansa/Arya/Bran/Sam.
Jon, Tyrion, Robyn, Gendry, Dorne, Yara, Edmure? Kind of a flaccid ending to give power to two people who suck and one that we don't even know the name of.
Sansa has the North, Vale, and Riverlands. Cersei has Kings Landing and the West Dany has the Storm Lands, Iron Islands, and Dragonstone Dorne is up in the air. The Highgarden area too. Thats ten so clearly i dont even know what the seven kingdoms ARE
I def think Dany should have put some armour on her dragons after the Battle of Winterfell. Only, I am not sure they would still be able to fly wearing any kind of armour that would stop those INSANELY POWERFUL ballista thingies Euron was shooting at them. Also, those things made quick work of ships too so I'm not sure why they didn't just make them in the first place.
Either Varys or Tyrion mentioned last night that “the new Prince Of Dorne” has pledged his support to Dany
The “Seven Kingdoms” were the original distinct kingdoms that Aegon I conquered when he came over to Westeros. (1) North (2) [Casterly] Rock (3) Stormlands (4) Isles and Rivers (Iron Islands and Riverlands in one) (5) Reach (Highgarden) (6) Vale (7) Dorne (was not conquered but centuries later peacefully joined)
North, Riverlands, Storm Lands, Lannisters, Tyrells, Dorne, Iron Islands Okay i think thats it. So Sansa has two. Dany has three. Cersei has one. I think Sam ends up with Highgarden when its all said and done.
Starks, Baratheons, Greyjoys, Tyrells, Arryns, Martells, and Tully...those are the “seven” that the Targs conquered to give that name, right? Edit: shit, forgot the Lannisters
The seven kingdoms was a thing but then Aegon the conqueror came united everything and then divided it in to nine areas.
I can’t believe they’re introducing a new character with two episodes left. Also I have absolutely no idea who would actually be left in charge. I’m sure Jon would run screaming for the hills at even the thought of running the north at this point. He’s going back to that cave to live with Porgs.
