I can see a time jump happening with a newer generation. Perhaps the kids of whoever is on the throne and the last scene will be something subtle focused on the next heir of the throne doing something alluding to something along the lines of “history will always repeat itself”
Yeah I can see Dany surprising us swaying the audience to think that maybe she does deserve to rule after all! ..but then she dies.
I think we’re gonna see her snap and then pull herself together later/at a turning point in the plot but subsequently die at some point thereafter. Super vague right I hold firm to these beliefs.
I believe there’s still two characters (according to the casting list from over a year ago) that we haven’t seen at all yet
Empty throne? Sam closing the book? Unlike Lost, I can’t come up with a final shot that seems completely destined to happen. I sort of can’t see it being just a shot of a particular character, but a lot of that possibility depends on what happens before we even get there.
Theories on what Euron was staring at in the preview? He clearly had a look of concern on his face and obviously it would relate to the dragon but I don’t know why he would have that look if it was *just* the dragon
Her suddenly being calm and collected and logical after this episode when now her nerves will be even more frayed and her emotions even higher would be hard to digest.
I think they played up Jon dying more than Dany with all the 'final goodbyes' and such, which makes me think he's more likely to survive now. The problem with the rushed storyline is there's so much less clues/hints/foreshadowing going on because, to quote Bran, we don't have time for it. So it kinda leaves you just guessing in the dark. IDK if Dany dies next week (i'm still on the she dies train)....I think it's more likely she does some extremely fucked up shit only to be killed/murdered in the season finale for it. But I would also like to see the scenario I laid out where she's going all MAd Queen and goes to Dracarys Cersei but cersei has set up a pile of wildfire near by that results in a huge explosion that engulfs them both and kills Dany. Of course this means Drogon would die too so uhh please no.
I think it was Drogon but he was just freaked out because he could hear him but couldn't see him. Dany learning from her mistakes and having Drogon stay out of sight until the last second. Really hope he burns the shit out of Euron. BURN THEM ALL
Seen someone say speculate it’s Yara’s fleet and the preview just throws you off and I’ve seen someone speculate it’s Drogon wearing armor. (Idk where the fuck she’d get armor)
I understand that Jon's parentage was always going to create a conflict, but I think this possible heel turn for Dany feels kind of rushed. One of them gotta die though
I keep completely writing off the possibility of Sansa being anything more than the Lady of Winterfell and/or Wardeness in the North, but gotta admit I'd enjoy seeing her take the Iron throne.
Drogon dying because of a wildfire explosion in KL ties in nicely with my idea that his death would mirror Tommen’s.........
If there is a throne at the end, Sansa is the only person left who makes sense to be on it. I still lean toward there not being one ruler by the end, but I’m not sure in what context (either by total destruction and schism or joint decision for the realm.)
Yeah I'd def be interested in a 'democracy' type end where the country is run by like a council of lords/ladys or something like that. But that means both Jon and Dany die, or Jon wants no part of being king and pulls a Maximus/Gladiator where his first and only act as King is to dissolve the monarchy and turn it over to a 'senate'.
Now that I’m home from work, I’m looking at the memes again and the memes...are good. My buddy filled up my dm inbox today all day so now I get to scroll through them and find gems like this:
From what we know of wildfire, it burns much much hotter than regular fire, it’s more a chemical fire than traditional I think.
