Yeah they both clearly care about each other a good deal but I don’t at all see any hint of romantic interest there. And I understood their caring about each other being multiplied by the fact that neither of them have ever had many actual friends. Like I could easily see two straight male characters having this exact same conversation
it was just such a weird thing to have tyrion call her out for being a virgin - like i get it its tyrion and hes at heart an obnoxious drunk and theyre playing that dumb game - but a strange decision for sure, with their only intention clearly being to force jaime and brienne together with two episodes to go, seemingly to serve up a confirmation of what we already assumed without needing any of this - that jaime is a goner before may 19th is over.
I’m going to be mad at Tyrion about that for a while. It was so uncalled for. Same with his gross convo after it happened. He goes back and forth about when to be tactful and when to be awful at such random moments now. I guess maybe from the drinking getting back to normal...
Dany is definitely killing Varys next week. I want her to go down as a hero, but this might be her last mistake.
the series will end with jon awakening to ghost (600 pounds of sin) sitting at his window and he will say "come on in, don't murder me"
I have to think Tyrion breaks from Dany in the next episode. This whole episode just feels like him trying to convince himself he believes in her still. Kind of sucks that Sansa is at Winterfell and all the action will take place at Kings Landing. Wonder how she will be involved next episode, if at all. She has learned from Littlefinger and others on how to be tactical. She's probably the smartest one in the game at this point since she's not blinded by loyalty.
They showed her looking over at Jaime smiling and Tyrion’s expression suddenly changed like he realized something, prob that she was into Jaime. Not sure why he went that route though
Jon talking to the few remaining troops in the final battle march, "Gentlemen, start your engines..."
Not only has this thread confirmed that the Night King fucks, but it's given us all great insight into which of our fellow Chorus members definitely do not fuck
You can also see him look over at Jaime super knowingly in episode 2 when she walks in and he falls all over himself. Also I totally forgot about the time Cersei full on called Brienne out for being in love with him and she just forgot how to exist for a minute.
If its the one with Frodo & Sam in the cornfield I never knew it was a Jeep but I always thought a vehicle did drive by waaaay in the background .
One thing I liked quite a bit is that we didn't hear what Dany whispered to Jorah. And Jon's goodbye to Sam and Gilly was very touching.
I'm on my phone, and it's been a while since I watched FOTR - but now I don't even see it. I just see some smoke coming from like a chimney or something.
Gilly telling Sam she was pretty sure Jon understood how her pregnancy happened was great. Very limited screen time (not that I think that character really needed any more at this stage of things), but everything with Gilly this final season has been very sweet and funny.
My friend HATESSSSS Gilly and I just do not understand it. Even during the episode she was texting me about how Gilly needs to get off of her screen, haha I like Gilly a lot :D
Gilly is one of those side characters who just brings a certain levity to the show that is especially enjoyable when everything else is so high stakes. Also, Sam, you really need to cite your sources more and give Gilly some credit for being the one to read about Rhaegar's annulled marriage
Yeah, it was. Him telling them he hoped it was a girl was really sad. I assume that was maybe the last we'll see of Sam, Gilly, and Thormund, and I'm cool with that because I didn't want any of them to die.
Someone here hates Gilly too but I can’t remember who because it was too painful to keep in my mind. Gilly is too precious and good.
