Overall I enjoyed the episode, even if I don't agree with all the choices made (not showing Jon/Sansa telling people stuff), some wonky dialogue, not FUCKING PETTING GHOST). Next week should be awesome.
Well, narratively it wouldn’t be as exciting of a conflict of the dragons were just auto-win machines. So it makes sense they’d figure it a way to even the odds.
....they’ve showed these dragon killing arrows since last season, and SHOWED ONE ALMOST KILLING ONE BEFORE.
I can’t believe they had Drogon at the meeting after what just happened. Lock that puppy up somewhere!
He did, but he improved on the design of the one in the castle. And then clearly improved on it further after Bronn nicked Drogon on the Goldroad.
THis episode gave me the "Fuck I hate this show" feelings that I had in season 1-5 when it came to character deaths lol
That’s my problem with it. Narratively, they never showed the true power of the dragons. They instantly created the antidote and it worked perfectly, right away. I get there’s the stories of the past dragons, but it just sucks not witnessing it before they have an answer for it.
I really don’t know what you mean by this. They’ve had the dragons fuck shit up multiple times. What is their “true power” supposed to be, exactly? Drogon alone came away relatively unscathed being attacked the Sons of the Harpy in s5 and then last ep when literally his entire body was being stabbed by zombies.
