I just want them to do something ballsy. Good or bad, that’ll be better than being boring and safe.

 

Since I am convinced at least one of the big 3 dies, I think the only one that has a danger of being a "boring and safe" death would be Jon dying, because of the serious chance that he 'just' dies in battle. I think Dany dying could happen in a shitton of interesting ways, i.e. jon killing her for some reason (mad queen secenaro? she goes after him because he's the true heir and he defends himself? I think the chances of this have gone down a bit since they both made it through the Long Night, but still a possibility), the cersei goading her scenario I laid out above, etc. She could die in battle too I suppose but I think there's just more interesting possibilities with her. And Tryion obviously would have to have some sort of crazy shit happen for him to die. Dany betrays him to Cersei for some reason, or executes him because he promised Cersei that her baby could be Dany's heir (this is one theory in particular I believe, probably because i also initially thought it after that episode and Tyrion's concern about who Dany's heir will be/the foreboding look he gave as he watched Jon go in for some auntie sex...but I also don't know if Dany ever finds out about it, or if it just comes to light after Dany dies, etc)

 

i get what you're saying, but as much as i loved last episode, it removed any doubt for me that main characters are gonna "just die in battle". this show has taken on a new tone in the homestretch and if Jon dies, it will be a huge set piece that features big dialogue with a main character and will be the kind of shit they'll sing songs about in-universe. no one in the top 5-10 billing is gonna go out like Edd did if Jorah didn't

A lot of "this character/episode is pointless because they didn't die". And a lot of Sansa hate. Miss me with that bullshit.

 

Poor Sansa has suffered so much from bad writing. She’s such an interesting character but so much of her journey has been told instead of shown or shown but in a baffling way. She’s another person I hope has a good ending.
