Winterfell seems to be a tactical nightmare. Just a castle out in the open with no natural barriers around it.
Is Vizombion actually and "ice dragon" though? I've seen this a lot but is he actually an ice dragon or does he just breathe blue fire because he's undead and under the Night King's control?
If they don’t go the Ned Dead Redemption route by dead Starks being raised in the crypt I think the WW will use the secret passages that Maester Luwin mentions wayyyy back to get into Winterfell and mostly everyone in the crypts gets slaughtered regardless
I think Weiss and Benioff said he's just an undead dragon that breathes blue fire, and not an ice dragon. I thought there was a part in season 2 (maybe?) where they mentioned that Ned's body had been sent to Winterfell? I think we're definitely going to see some beloved characters fighting for the Night King at some point.
Yeah I always just assumed he was able to take the wall down with a combination of fire and magic (and I assumed that's also probably why dragonglass has the ability to kill White Walkers: fire and magic). One of those things where you probably don't have to think too hard about it.
If I were the night king, I’d fly past winterfell on my ice dragon and destroy a bunch of villages. Then raise all the dead and approach winterfell from two sides
Just read a theory, spoilers just in case: Davos is confronted by the little girl he served soup to after she’s been killed and turned into a wight and won’t be able to bring himself to “kill” a “little girl” and she kills him, which would destroy me .
Yeah I feel like that little girl getting soup somehow protects gilly and lil Sam, but dies in the process also
