That one dude from Europe who has leaked shit from 5,6 and 7 probably leaked it so whatever it is. It’s probably right Please keep it away from here
Hmm yeah don’t think I’ll seek the ending out if it does happen to be real. Some shows I don’t think I’d really mind but this is certainly not one of them.
there are “leaks” out there that have pretty much all been admitted to as fanfic. idk if anything legit has dropped yet.
All I know is a friend of mine said he just heard recently the ending has leaked. Literally no idea if he has validity on it, if this is new, or something that has been out there, or just someone throwing nonsense on the internet. But I have no interest in learning what is out there lol.
I remember seeing this a while back and I think it helps me put a finger on why the show feels so much different nowadays. Almost like now they're realizing that a lot of the endgame pieces need to have a payoff and there's not a good, satisfying yet unpredictable way of dealing with most of them. It's not really as though the story has written itself into a corner, but the way it's being handled now feels like their priorities lie mostly in tying up the loose ends and shifting pieces quickly to make everything happen in order to just get to the final few scenes.
I agree 100%. I like all the fan service, don't get me wrong, but I get that with most shows. I'd be fine with this one totally going the unexpected route.
Totally forgot that the episode is tomorrow instead of tonight, and I’ll be with my family when it’s on. Oops. Way to blow 1/6th of the whole reason I decided to watch it now. Lol.
Just had a random thought of what if the Night King doesn't die if stabbed by dragonglass, but rather turns back human. It prob wouldn't serve any purpose to the story, especially with 6 episodes left....but it'd be cool to get more insight into the CHildren of the Forest and his dealings with them over the thousands of years.
I’d actually kind of love it if one/two of the long episodes opened with vague’ish lore backstory and then had a normal episode on top of it. If they talk about the night’s king, or try to humanize the night king...they need to build Up to it. Mindless marching, a spear throw, and a baby ww conversion aren’t enough.
I imagine he wouldn’t be a baby but rather the human man we saw the children turn with the dragon glass to the heart...but I just can’t see it being something they’d be able to fit in in a 6 episode final season that’s supposed to be wrapping up the story. I think at the end of the day he’s just a force of nature meant to be a mindless killing machine against men due to the Children’s ongoing war with the First Men.
For such an epic series, I think there should be at least some more exposition on his background and motivation. Especially for being the “big baddie” on the series. I know it’s not all about the white walkers but it'd be like if Thanos just got a few minutes of screen time and no explanation after 20 marvel movies leading up to it
I personally don’t feel like I need any further backstory on The Night King. The mysteriousness of TNK since his first introduction is part of what has made it so appealing to me. Part of me worries too, that if they do take the time to delve further into his background, it will take away from the comedy of storylines that also still need to be buttoned up.
I agree, but I also agree with the earlier point that you can’t really give him some in-depth motivation or anything complicated without any additional explanation going on. It’s all probably just unnecessary and I wouldn’t be mad if they just leave him as some sort of demon who just wants everyone dead.
