Is there something more to this elephant thing than the one line from Cersei in the new episode?

 

Finally got around to watching the first two episodes and now I'm hooked!

 

I believe in season 7 she was promised elephants along with soldiers, but it was more of just a comical, sarcastic, and silly comment from her in this episode. Because like ... elephants lol.

 

She mentioned elephants and all the fans got excited because elephants are great so this season they decided to make a “not in the budget” joke because they spent all their money on live action How to Train Your Dragon.

 

You really don't like this show do you? Haha

 

It really is strange to me what little line the internet can grab onto and then turn around and make weird memes out of. I figured I must have missed something bigger than a throwaway moment.

I think Jaime's presence in Winterfell could potentially be huge for Tyrion, and not in a good way. IF Tyrion did end up making a secret deal with Cersei at the end of last season, Jaime arriving in WF knowing that the Lannister army is not coming to help puts Tyrion in a difficult situation. Tyrion's been promising help, Jaime arrives and says its not coming and that it was a trick. Awkward.

 

I want deus ex elephant to make me eat my words.

This is stupid, but I really appreciated Davos having onions and a Melisandre-themed dart board at his desk area

 

I just don't see it. I know I'm in the minority here though

Edit: Actually I'll admit this is mostly a hold over opinion from when they were both younger, they do look more alike as they both age

 

Sophie and Maisie are so naturally funny. They need to do something lighter after GoT, preferably together.
