haha just jokes. My friend was just being stupid when he presented that idea though. I never know what to expect from this show.
Oh no worries. I do try to give it credit where it’s due in addition to screaming into the void when it fails me. I still am completely on the fence over what will happen. I hope it goes full time travel nonsense personally.
I do think there's a possible trial by combat that's just the Hound/Mountain if Cersei ends up imprisoned at the end (CleganeBowl!), but otherwise I legit have no idea how this ends. I think it ends with King Aegon VI Targaryen, but...I have no idea how. I'm still not sure what I even think happens at Winterfell. I don't know if they win the war for the dawn right now, which is what I want because I don't want to see Winterfell destroyed lol...or if they'll lose the first battle and retreat and be forced to team up with Cersei and the Golden Company and etc....I just have no idea how this goes down.
I expect a good deal of secondary characters deaths in ep 3 -- people like Tormund, Edd, Beric, Grey Worm (upcoming clip showed him and Missandei kissing, so he's for sure a goner imo) Also I imagine Bran will die with the Night King. His narrative become irrelevant once that's dealt with
I wish they pushed the idea of the Three Eyed Raven being Brynden Rivers more so we could have the option of Bran the Hand of the King open but yeah, once the Night King is dead idk what he does. (he moves to the Neck and marries Meera because that's what i want damn it)
Because he's her lobster! Also because I just ship them and they definitely like each other in the books IMO haha I do also believe Bran is only temporarily broken. The Three Eyed Raven obviously still had some humanity in him, I think the combo of Bran having to fast track his training+the Night King being an existential threat has kind of just fried his brain for a bit. I think as time goes on he'll get a small sense of normalcy back.
I think the Three Eyed Raven had humanity because he was (usually) played by Max von Sydow and he could give humanity to a mop. Funny that you use the lobster thing as a justification when that came about for one of the worst ships in the history of ships. Lol. It is a good quote though.
Man, my cousin in Sicily just posted on her Instagram story that she was watching the premiere. Had no idea she was a fan haha. Crazy how popular all over the world this show is.
Another thought on that Bran/Tyrion stare: I forgot Bran hasn't seen Tyrion since Tyrion gave him the plans for the saddle.
So looks like there will be a Jamie trial next episode, but there's no way that he DOESN'T get bailed out by Brienne, right? His moments of honor were significant in setting in motion the events that led to the Stark family being reunited. Also Tyrion is there and can vouch for him too.
