HBO GO has a bunch of little videos of the main actors doing retrospectives on their characters and it's so adorable seeing the difference between Sansa / Arya / Bran then and now

 

Damn, solid start. I loved how it set up all the conflicts right away instead of dragging things out. Sam’s reaction to finding out his family was dead killed me. Also very happy that we’re not wasting time with Theon’s rescue plan.

Totally did not even think about the Bran/Jamie reunion.

 

Underrated realization I just had: they had Qyburn make Bronn the offer because Jerome and Lena can’t stand each other. I love that they’ve had those two characters for all 8 seasons and they still haven’t been in the same scene together.

 

I’m worried it’s Jaime but I don’t think theyd make it so obvious in the scenes for next week thing

 

It just shows her shooting an arrow. They play a line of her saying death has many faces but she's definitely just talking about the army of the dead

Haha my immediate reaction was “what the hell friends does this weirdo have?” Then I put it together once I saw Jaime riding in with his hood up.

Yeah this. There’s no reason why Cersei couldn’t have just made that offer to him herself but the actors hate each other so much they just find ways for them to not interact and it always amuses me.

Bronn taking Pod away from the meeting for absolutely no reason last season was great

 

I'm pretty sure her voice-over during that scene says "Death. I sought many faces, I look forward to seeing this one."

 

Maybe I missed something during last season. But I remember Cersei wouldn’t drink wine when Tyrion offered it to her(realizing she was pregnant) but she was drinking a glass after having sex with Euron.

 

Do we know why?

 

I was getting a drink during the scene, but did Bran just straight up tell Dany (and everyone) that her dragon is a wight now and she just...... didn’t react?

 

They dated like 20 years ago and the break up was apparently very very not good and now they refuse to be in the same room together, basically

 

Her face was pretty crestfallen...could kinda see her shoulders sag at the news and such

 

Yep. I think poker faces were on, but she definitely showed that it hit her

was cracking up at drogon watching them make out so intensely lol

 

The little jealous snort was great. He’s like a puppy dawww I want a Drogon

 

Why would you need to have a poker face at hearing news of an ice dragon??

Also she never mentioned it later. Her “mother” status is so bizarre. She’s just as bad at caring about her kids as Cersei. Her pain and fear over that would have been a much more meaningful scene than making out in front of a waterfall.

 

tbh i root for dany less and less as each episode passes

 

New queen just arriving...can’t be breaking down into a sobbing mess in front of the northmen

 

My girlfriend realized tonight she might not have a happy ending and she didn’t like that

 

I looked it up and they dated and broke up in 2013/2014.

 

I just mean that should have been something literally anyone brought up then and later. Like I know Bran is a total freak but at least comment on how bad that is!
