Sure there's that, but even the dialogue feels uncanny (this could be that I'm just coming off rewatching the first 3 seasons again, so directly comparing 8 to that), and the reunions themselves were pretty lackluster outside of Arya/Gendry.. like how does Jon/Arya reuniting feel so empty?

Did you see her face? It doesn’t matter if it’s a power play. She’s the only character still being put through this kind of thing, and it’s a shame. Totally agree that everything feels very forced and fluffy and fan fictiony. That dragon scene and especially the kiss after it was... something.
