I feel like they’ll tease it and drag it on, right? But if he shows up in Winterfell that has to be the first thing Sam/Bran wanna say? However, it would lead to an immediate conflict between him and Daenerys ... which is probably the intention.
They've had some comedy throughout the series but it was mostly just Tyrion or someone being a smartass, so that was a pretty cool scene to see. Apparently a bunch of people from the premiere said this first episode apparently has a lot of laughs in it, looking forward to it.
It wasn’t just the comedy (although I thought it was more sad and gross than anything else), the way it was edited and how long it went on was super jarring and unexpected.
Yeah it definitely wasn't a typical scene for them. I thought they perfectly timed the length of it too, where it was just long enough to give you that uncomfortable laugh why is it still going ha ha but not too long to make it annoying lol.
I thought that montage was hilarious Nothing will beat that transition from Sam treating Jorah's greyscale into the shot of the pie being eaten tho
Never mind who, whats the over/under for number of major characters getting splatted in this first episode?
I definitely think that's most likely, or even possible that most of the deaths are end-loaded into eps 5&6. But I'm hoping for a fast start, and for the unexpected to happen
I've got a feeling tonight will just be all of the reunions and info dump, then next episode it'll ramp up.
I honestly don't expect anyone to die in the first episode. Maybe Yara or Theon, someone at the wall. I'd say everyone else is relatively safe for now.
I would imagine that for story timing issues the army of the dead needs to be arriving at Winterfell by the end of the episode tonight
y’all i am so fuckin hyped i could cry got my day drink on got the GoT Oreos ready (half eaten) and i’m making calzones for dinner just so we can post it on Instagram and caption it Game of ‘zones
Tormund is one of like 2 characters i actually care to see live through all this, but his proximity to the walkers at the end of the last season has me feeeling uhhhhh less than optimistic.
