Well it sucks that Netflix Canada doesn't have any HBO shows. I've literally watched EVERYTHING on Netflix so now I have to pay Crave/Bell for the HBO stuff. Is it similar in the states?

Prime has a partnership for some HBO shows that they’ve had for a bit, but mostly they are pretty standalone. I’ve had a membership basically all my life so it’s never been an issue.

We wrote Miraz. Haha. I was too busy doing the bonus round matching the 20 names to the episode they died so we didn't brainstorm that. And I don't remember, but they must have since it was a show based trivia. Her name is Leaf.

 

Wow, why didn’t they just pretend Daario died and some new dude came in? There’s nothing of the original portrayal in this at all.

There’s not a ton Robb himself could’ve done differently besides the obvious. The marriage issue was a huge deal for Frey because he has a massive chip on his shoulder since he sees the Tullys as thinking they can just walk all over him with no consequences. Frey’s beef definitely had more to do with his hatred of the Tullys than how he felt about the Starks.

But also there’s the fact that they even needed Frey in the first place: Lord Karstark had a personal vendetta against Jaime because Jaime killed his sons, which imo is just a result of war and isn’t really a justifiable reason to hold a grudge against a person — what is Jaime supposed to do, just let them come at him? And he was even less justified when he took that anger out by slaughtering Lannister children taken captive by Robb. He didn’t even try to apologize for it so he was actively undermining Robb by constantly acting behind his back. So Robb executed him and lost all the Karstark support which shrunk his army. Idk if those soldiers would have theoretically stayed if Robb just imprisoned him instead but yeah fuck Karstark for all that bullshit

Also going back to season 1 there’s just the bizarre fact of the Freys having complete control over what seems like an extremely important crossing in Westeros??? Like there should be no reason for them to have any power to basically say who can or cannot travel from the North to the South.

 

Yeah I’ve said this here a few times, the first 5-8 minutes of the next episode is possibly more heart wrenching than the red wedding itself

 

I mean, they built the castle and bridge and started charging people to cross, no one else built a better bridge haha

 

Purple is my favorite color, I should have known I’d prefer a purple wedding to a red one.

There is no way in hell that the amount of emotional wreckage you're about to put yourself through is healthy to do in a two week span.

 

Oh and now I’m to one of the parts that reminds me why I will never truly love this show or its writing. Absolute garbage.
