2nd place at trivia tonight. I'm really mad at myself because I forgot the name of the girl Children of the Forest, and the witch that burns on Drogo's funeral pyre. There was a ridiculous round where they gave a list of 20 names and a list of episodes, you had to match the episode to when they died. I didn't have enough time to think about each name carefully, only got 14/20.
I could see them doing a notable flash forward at some point, maybe after the battle against the dead. I would at least prefer that to them doing what they did last season, where in a matter of like 3 scenes they go from Gendry getting back to the wall to Dany arriving with her dragons and saving the crew.
anyone try any of the GoT themed beer or alcohol? Thinking of getting some for the premiere. Where would you even find the stuff?
Tried a few of the early Ommegang GoT beers and thought they were good. Idk if they’re still doing them but if so, a bottle shop might have them. Especially one with a big enough selection to sort by state
I still have an unopened bottle of two of the Ommegang beers from years ago. I bought extra so I could keep these as souvenirs and will likely never drink them. I got my brother one of the Scotch whiskeys for Christmas, that was really good.

Any decent beer distributor should have the ommegang bottles, the white walker johnny walker is also really good.
Posted in here a couple of times recently, but the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms is amazing. I've bought four bottles of it so far because my girlfriend and I are addicted to it. The other beers that are currently out (For the Throne, Mother of Dragons, etc.) were pretty good, but it mainly depends on the type of beer you like. I found the beers at my local grocery store, so they aren't too hard to come by (just needs to be a place with a decent beer selection). Thats correct, one of the battles took nearly 2 months to shoot - i remember seeing that circulate last year, the crew all got thank you cards from the showrunners for their work and it leaked online.
Ugh. No. Just no. I don't even want to watch. You can't have a 55-day shoot without killing off at least 10 major characters.
Gwendoline looked STUNNING last night. Absolutely transcendent and otherworldly. Also, y’all, I’m 15 minutes into Rains of Catamere.
Really wish I hadn’t known all the details about that. Poor Cat. I didn’t know the band was all part of it though, that was cool. I also don’t know enough about the details to be able to trace back exactly what led to this or what they could have done differently to avoid it, other than Robb going through with the marriage. Just brutal.
Also headless Robb being paraded around with the wolf’s head is so much worse why is that not talked about more??? Heartbreaking.
