At this point aren't the dragons the only saving grace for Dany? Unless she can get out on her own by some damn way. I doubt any group of characters we know of can stroll into where she is and take her away.
I'm gonna put the Blackfish on milk cartons. Hopefully someone finds him and reports his whereabouts.
Seriously though, something has to come of this, right? It just seems like a huge plot hole both in the books and in the show, right?
There are a few characters that just disappear so I'm not sure if they have to return in some form or what. Benjen went North of the wall and was never heard from again, and Arya's dire wolf ran off and has never been mentioned again that I can remember.
Well, to be fair, Benjen went into presumed Walker territory and there is a high likelihood he is part of that army now. Or he's just dead somewhere. Fucking Gendry rowed off into the water...haha.
The Blackfish is set to return this season, as are Edmure Tully and Thoros of Myr. I need that Riverlands action! Also Gendry never rowed away in the book, his character wasn't even in that setting.
Well, in the books, Nymeria is only mentioned like twice after she's run off. But those mentions are pretty boss.
I fucking need CleganeBowl. I'm gonna get so blitzed for it if it happens that I won't even remember it in the morning and will need to watch it again.
Man, the best TV version of The Mountain was the one who face the "something" of Flowers, right? Where he beheaded the damn horse.
I gotta say the most interesting part about this episode is the universal praise for the killing of a child.
Gendry is irrelevant to pretty much everything Yes I believe this is the case though she is never explicitly named as the wolf in question yup super weird lol
Like, several mentions of Ollie, who was a child and got to see the people who murdered his family and burned his village become welcomed and protected and somehow none of Alliser who was actually a shitty person and had been throughout the entire show.
That was definitely joking on my part. And the reaction to Ollie is clearly because he's the "worst traitor" as a friend turner enemy instead of an awful person doing another awful thing a with Thorne. It's not like everyone is celebrating the death of an innocent child, ie like last season when Shireen was burned and everyone was aghast.
Other than being a miserable old shit, I don't remember Thorne actually doing anything bad. Honestly, even his arguments for betraying jon are pretty solid.
They were never Jon's "friend" or whatever you want to use for how their relationship began in a mentorship that crumbled.
Dude had already killed Ygritte and was being pushed away by what Jon was trying to do. It's not like Theon to Robb. Or even Roose to Robb. It's more like Walder to Robb. It isn't surprising at all when you think about the situation outside of the significance of the character.
from ollie's point of view, wildlings killed his parents before his eyes so both his prejudice and betrayal are p understandable imo.
How fucking bad would it be to hang though? Besides drowning or burning, I can't think of a way to go I'd be more terrified of.
