May have taken every Monday off until this finished. Premieres 2am Monday morning here in the UK for Simulcasting
I've been invited to join a weekly watching party for the first time since I just watched all of it a month or two ago. They've already laid down strict house rules that are to be followed or immediate banishment will commence.
We will probably be hosting small watch parties at our house, but I've already made sure to have my sound system hooked up so that no one can talk over the volume of the show.
Aww man, I have Ramsay to blame for the millions of cringy, “If you think this has a happy ending,” comments?? The absolute worst in and out of universe.
Well tbf, you would have known it was Ramsay a long time ago, but...... <____< >____> You haven't been paying attention.
We're gonna kick off the premiere by playing a round of Game of Thrones Settlers of Catan. Anyone ever played that version? I've only tried it once, it was pretty intense.
How long does this take? I thought about trying something like that. Also going to pick up more of the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms beer I mentioned earlier because it's amazing.
yes, and our game went about four hours lol. the wall mechanics just sat at a total stalemate for us for the longest time, and Longest Road was a spiteful bloodbath. loved the character abilities and stuff though
I played this the other week and we realized towards the end of the game we were doing a bunch wrong with the wildlings/the wall even after reading through the rules. We'll have it down next time we play. There are less complicated Catan expansions but it was pretty fun.
I wanna do a light re-watch of important episodes from each season but it seems the multiple lists out there that attempt to do this are not always in agreement. Anyone got any ideas on what 2-3 episodes from each season you'd watch? Some are obvious but others are hard to pick, especially the early seasons where I know I'm just gonna wanna watch the entire goddamn seasons lol
This is my re-watch list that I made a couple weeks ago. I tried looking up "most important" episodes, but a lot of what came up were just "best episodes" instead. I tried to get an average of what was mentioned the most and this is what I came up with. S1 - 1, 9, 10 S2 - 6, 9, 10 S3 - 4, 8, 9 S4 - 2, 8, 10 S5 - 6, 8, 9, 10 S6 - 2, 5, 9, 10 S7 - all Episodes that also got mentioned, but I don't have time to watch them: S1 - 7 S3 - 6*, 7** S4 - 6*, 9 S5 - 5
i work every sunday until late and have class the next day so ill be watching every episode monday nights. i did this during last season though, avoiding spoilers is not that difficult
This last showdown between Arya and the waif is so silly Okay I’ll say something nice now since my last few have been negative but hey I just think these seasons are pretty mediocre overall okay SO Jaime and Brienne meeting again in the Riverrun siege and then the waves goodbye are very good as was Jaime and Edmure’s scene
All of the white walkers that have actually bothered to try to fight so far have been taken out in seconds. I like to think that they’re so used to being OP and shattering everything that they’re completely arrogant and/or horrible at actually fighting anyone themselves lol -The first one ignores Sam entirely and lets him come up from behind him -The one at Hardhome plays with Jon but then immediately gets thrown off when Longclaw blocks the spear and Jon kills it really fast -Meera throws a dragonglass spear at one and it just stands there and takes it -In s7ep6 Jon goes 1on1 with one and kills it faster than most of the crew were able to take out a single wight
When I finished my first watchthrough like a month ago I managed to somehow finish every season in three days each lol. I even fell into a pattern, I'd watch the first four of the season the first day and then three for the next two days
