I just watched the rains of castamere while I was at the gym. I was going from machine to machine and the episode faded to black right as the treadmill went off in perfect sync

 

Bran telling the story of the rat cook, immediately cuts to Walder Frey.

 

It’s been so long since I read the books that I barely remember anything beyond the general plot points from book 4-5 and the show has supplanted most of it

 

Jojen and Meera get introduced into the show so randomly/awkwardly (s3ep2). They literally just walk out of the shadows and introduce themselves lol

 

I have a week and a half to rewatch the entire series because I'm going to a GOT trivia night. I need to kill it.

 

Yeah I literally didn't even realize it was supposed to be the same guy for the new actor's entire first episode

 

I don’t know what’s the most jarring thing while binge watching this: the recast of Daario or the clean shaven clean cut Jaime. He looks like he traveled back in time from the present day when he is training with Bronn

 

The small council meetings in s2 and s3 were always so great. There aren't many other recurring scenes where so many major characters are together and playing off each other at one time.

Everyone's reaction after what Joffrey says at 2:15 is fantastic. Particularly Varys's

 

For me, it's the complete change of accent for Littlefinger even with the same actor. Totally takes me out of it every time I think about it when watching.

Last time I remember seeing him, it was when Dany and and the whole crew decided that Jon and Dany would travel to Winterfell together.

 

Ah yes. He wasn't really a big player in the last season. Hope he has his moments in the final season.

 

I’m up to Blackwater now and I must have stopped right before this because none of it is familiar. There are so many funny little moments in this one, and now I get the wine memes that were everywhere after Sophie chugged at the game recently.

 

Wow. I never caught who actually poisoned Jon Arryn until this rewatch

 

me neither, and we are in the exact same spot haha just watched that one last night

 

It kind of makes me wonder if I missed this episode first time around. I honestly didn’t remember any of it. This season was when I finally started watching live so I don’t think I would have missed it

 

Same, it's mentioned so quickly and then they don't bring it up again

 

Don't they bring it up in the most recent season when Sansa is reciting all of Littlefinger's crimes?

first mention is in S04E07 or E08, watched both of those last night but i don’t remember which it was in

it was actually S4 E05, First of his name. Lysa admits to doing it for littlefinger.
