This show was actually a lot funnier than I was expecting going in. I actually legit lol'd a couple times (one that sticks out to me is early on Cersei says something to Tyrion about being tired of his plots and schemes and then he just goes "...plots and schemes are the same thing". Totally took me by surprise and I laughed out loud)

 

Yeah a few chapters into the second book and you have a far better understanding of stannis than show developed in the four seasons he was in it.

 

Unpopular opinion: The Battle of Blackwater Bay is extremely overrated.

 

I just saw this on my rewatch and it definitely didn’t compare to the other battle episodes. I think at this point we hadn’t really seen a battle fleshed out so this was the best we had

 

Davos's first chapter after that battle is still one of my favorites.

 

Been counting the days super excited for the final season. vidmate

 

This moment always got me:

 

"Fewer"

 

It's not necessarily a gag or anything but Arya bursting out laughing at the absurdity of it all when she and the Hound learn Lysa is dead is one of the very best little moments in any season

 

They didn't have the budget at that point to make it a massive battle like Hardhome or BOTB. I still love Blackwater because it's a defining moment in Tyrion's story arch.

 

I always laugh really hard at the Hound when Brienne finds him and Arya. He asks who she is, and after she responds he goes "Alright, well Brienne of fucking TOTH..." and I love it every time.

 

I really hope Jonathan finds time between eps of Queer Eye to bring back Gay of Thrones one last time

 

I would hope Meera would've told him by now

 

I'm gonna be really sad if we don't see Meera again....and I don't remember reading any reports about her being there or any interviews with her or etc. If that was her ending last season, it was terrible.

That's gonna be the best part about the books if/when they get finished IMO...we'll get proper fleshed out endings for a lot more than just the 'main' characters.

One of my favorite parts was when Arya was telling the Hound about how she named her sword Needle.

also "What the fuck's a Lommy?"

Man I really forgot how Joffrey treated Cersei in season 2

 

I mean 3

 

I loved it whenever Tyrion slapped him

 

Amazing moment when things felt simpler haha.

 

Yeah rewatching s2 when Tyrion was acting Hand and it’s great how he never hesitates to take the piss out of Joffrey in ways that even Cersei wouldn’t
