Just finished S2 on my rewatch. Gonna have to find time to squeeze in more episodes before the premiere
Oh wow. That puts Season 8 less than 10 minutes shorter than Season 7 despite having one less episode. Season 7 = 440 minutes Season 8 = 432 minutes
I thought that episode 3 time looked a little fishy considering it’s allegedly the battle of Winterfell and said battle is supposed to include like the longest filmed battle scene ever
Might not be that unpopular but I always really disliked Arya in Braavos. It always felt painfully drawn out to me (even more so when I rewatch it). Like I get it's important for her character but god damn does it drag.
I think there is just as much bad stuff as there is good stuff in the TV show and once it ends it will be a middle of the pack drama for me.
I like the show and binged the hell out of it, but it doesn't feel like something I'll ever return to and watch again.
I’ve rewatched it a bunch and it’s def GOAT for me right now...this and The Leftovers. I also don’t watch a huge amount of tv shows.
As a basic outsider trying to break into these conversations so late in the game, I really appreciate that the fans here aren’t super elitist or gatekeeping about it. That’s not an unpopular opinion of course, but I don’t think I’m far enough to actually list any.
I feel the same way about The Leftovers I think. I might watch that one again at some point, but I don't LOVE it or anything.
It just felt so pointless in the end. All that time becoming "no one" and then she just goes back home.
I have such high hopes for this but I’m trying to temper my expectations in case it doesn’t land for some reason.
jon should have stayed dead. daenerys needs to cut it with her dumb speeches every time her dragons do something cool because theyre all the same and emilia clarke can not act. once upon a time arya was the best stark, its been sansa for a hot minute now. oh and hardhome is not that great.
