I know binging has kind of taken over and most people don't completely care about staying current with shows these days...but I genuinely feel sorry for anyone not experiencing this show as it's happening. Being part of the hype is unlike anything I've ever really experienced.

 

Hype I would even argue is potentially elevated by the more prolonged gaps. I can remember similar ish mania back in the hay day of Walking Dead but so many episodes in one year seemed to deflate the significance somewhat. Knowing you have 10 or so episodes during a period of time each year gives GOT a singular sort of excitement that will be missed for sure.

 

I know what you mean - it's the calm before the storm sort of feeling.

Pretty sure it's been discussed numerous times that if the movie has premiered, it's open discussion. Regardless, instead of sparking another debate over it, I spoiler tagged it since it isn't the official thread.

The movie is out, it's 2018, go see blockbusters early on. I spoiler tagged it too and it ruined the suprised for literally one person, @Cameron. I am sorry to Cameron for that. Anybody else reading it can stop giving me shit cause it's tagged and I don't feel bad if you're reading spoiler tagged stuff.

 

ehhh gonna call bullshit on this one. People can avoid a Terminator thread if they haven't seen Terminator. Posting Terminator spoilers in the Game of Thrones thread should come pre-empted. I'm going to hover over spoilers in a Game of Thrones thread because I'm expecting GoT content. If you want to talk about movies that come out years and years ago, go right ahead. This is something that came out this weekend. I'm not asking for much here, just say:

Star Wars spoiler!
Chewie fucks a dragon.
Just going: "Chewie fucks a dragon, guys." is a shitty thing to do.

Well, every conversation I've seen regarding spoilers is that if the movie is out, it's fair game to discuss it. I didn't post it in the sense of trolling people, it was a genuine response on a public forum in response to the post I had read at the time. Beyond that, I still spoiler tagged it.

If it is spoiler tagged, and you scroll over it and read it, and then you're mad you read a spoiler, that's just silly. Also loved the muscle flex at the end of your post.

 

Spoilers in that specific thread... this ain’t the Solo thread. Thanks for spoiling a movie i couldn’t see until the second day it was out.

Movie isn't spoiled at all. In fact, what I referenced has little to do with the movie and overall plot.

 

Not a muscle flex. Garrett, myself and a few others came up with rules for the entertainment forum. I'm telling you how the policy works. We have rules in place about spoilers, and if you don't abide by them, we can take action. Its really not that hard to understand.

I'm just asking politely that you not do it again.

 

Nah, what you did was condescendingly called bullshit on me for stating why I said what I said, when people are acting like I don't have a right to discuss what I brought up. And then threw a title at me at the end with an emoji, as if it meant anything to me. If you were trying to politely ask, that wasn't the way to do it. And again, I apologized for not having it tagged on the basis that this thread isn't for that movie. I seriously and highly doubt anywhere in your note on your phone where you made your official rule book that it says anywhere "Spoilers for movies that have already come out cannot be posted or discussed in any other threads other than the one made for the movie." It's dumb, acting like I did something malicious or bad is dumb, and i'm gonna delete the post on the belief that it will prevent me from having to defend myself in such a stupid conversation anymore.
