So do we think the fight with the White Walkers gets resolved first and then the fight for the throne? Do the White Walkers make it past a Winterfell? The Neck?

Kind of think its connected. Whoever is still alive will get the throne.

Yeah but if Cersei is staying down in KL, either she wins when everyone else dies, or the White walkers make it down that far and kill her. So I’m thinking we won’t get through this fight against the Dead where all the competitors for the throne are wiped out and surviver gets it by default....I think we end up with someone coming south and taking the throne from Cersei. The last long night I don’t think the White Walkers made it past the Neck, but I could be wrong.

I think the North will be forced to retreat south over the course of a few episodes. Everyone we care for will congregate at King's Landing and the good guys will be wedged in between the Night King from the North and Cersei from the South. As for how it ends, I really don't know. I think it's safe to assume Westeros will be a different place entirely.

I feel like there’s a good chance they don’t even bother to try and fight there, they just go south once they realize help isn’t coming.

Took me since July but finally watched the entire series lol. These season 6 and 7 episodes have been absolutely draining.

    Woo! Welcome to the club.

Yeah the first 4 seasons are soul crushing emotional drains and the the last 3 just continuously punch you in the face. Even week Season 5 had Hardhome and the Dance Of Dragons.

A couple weeks ago I watched the Battle for Winterfell and then saw the new Star Wars right after at a matinee. It was like 5pm after that and I wanted to go to bed I was so spent lol.

I think Battle of the Bastards may actually be one of the best cinematic battles i've ever watched. I'm not being hyperbolic, it plays out so well and the CGI blended with real practical effects was done flawlessly. When I watched the making of for the episode I was blown away at what was real and what wasn't.

And that one long take they have in the middle there is fantastic. There are 4-5 of those long, extended continuous takes I can think of off the top of my head that are executed masterfully. Can’t imagine how hard and frustrating it would be to film those scenes.

Yes, it was pure anxiety for me when the horses collide and the arrows are flying. Even now I still fear Jon catching one in the arm or leg.
