I think the fact Cersei watched Dany be escorted to the meeting by a dragon may have played a role in her not doing anything stupid then.

I do think she DOES care about her family, but she'll kill them if she needs to. Wasn't she within seconds of poisoning Tommen after Blackwater battle and only stopped cause Tywin busted in?

 

Yes, she was doing that thinking they would lose the battle of Blackwater and her children would be held captive and tortured.

 

Yeah I believe she was going to poison herself and Tommen in that scene. A thing that I've wondered about is how much Cersei actually cares about Jaime. Her love for her children is obviously very real but Jaime seems to care about her (well, up until just now) much more than she cares about him. He's mentioned that he's never slept with another women while we've seen Cersei lay with whoever seemed beneficial to her at the time. It seems at times that Cersei only uses Jaime as a pawn. I'm glad that he finally got fed up in the last episode and is guided by a moral compass instead of blind love for Cersei.

I may be alone in still believing that Cersei is lying about being pregnant.

 

I'm kinda still with you on that. I could see it being a lie. I feel like if she was pregnant and it was Jaime's she'd still want him around. And I'm sure she's still holding out on Euron

The one to "I remember everything" is so great. I mean what else can you do or say at that point haha.

 

Me and my gf recently just got into GOT. We are nearly on season 6 and damn I can't believe it took us this long to get into it. Awesome series, I can say we are hooked! We've got from season 1 - 6 in 3 week haha.

 

It's an amazing show that does so much right. I've never watched anything that told a more or less straightforward story but also has so much of an edge over and challenges its audience like GOT. Even the crowd pleasing moments of season 6 & 7...i would have never expected something like that while in the midst of season 3 & 4. Never seen a show earn its payoff moments to such an extent. The battle scenes and special effects keep getting better, and you gotta imagine the last season will potentially match the scale of epic battles in a lot of movies.
