I also think Jaime would apologize to Bran.

I feel like Tyrion's disappointing look was more because he fears love will get in the way of logic between the two heavy allies. Maybe he fears Jon's loyalty was out of love and his crush over what actually makes sense?

You google the details but the aegon in the books isn't really aegon it's a scheme by varys and illyrio

As likely as that is, I don't think we can speak definitively on him being a targ or a blackfyre yet

I've been on the wiki since and it speaks pretty definitively about him? Could you give a link please?

What is it you think Tyrion said to Cersei to make her change her appear to change her mind?

Possibly a marriage alliance between Danys first born (does Tyrion know that she apparently can't have children at this point?) and Cersei's unborn child?

I'd be so disappointed if Tyrion ended up betraying Dany. Feels like it would be very out of character for him.

I just started reading the books, totally into it already. I kinda thought it would be a chore but watching the show seems to have helped a lot.

Agreed, it would go against everything they've made his character into over many seasons. Would feel like shock for the sake of it.

Sadly, they've been doing this all season so wouldn't be shocked if they continue the trend next year.

I really hope they don't though

True, that'd be my biggest disappointment character/story wise with the show if they did.

Tyrion knows Dany can't have kids. It's possible he got Cersei to agree to have her child be named heir, but I doubt if she would just give up power like that. He probably just pleaded with her to see reason and think of her child.

Im quite unsure, but doesn't it also kind of not matter? Couldn't he have said all he had said on screen? Either way she already isn't going with the plan, so even if he made a deal she isn't going to keep it regardless.

It does matter if whatever he said to her to convince her (to at least make it look like she changed her mind) betrays Danaerys.

I also wonder if Tyrion knows Cersei isn't reliable and expects her to back out? If not, Jamie is on his way somewhere and he has the news to break.

He's not switching sides. He's spent the entire series against Cersei and now that she's at her most daft NOW he switches? Nah haha.

Also, the "do not trust the lion" thing is 100 percent about Cersei in this situation.

Yeah. I don't think Tyrion promised her a thing. Cersei's acting under a guise. She's playing the entire other side, but in doing so, she accidentally revealed her real hand to someone (Jaime) who then abandons her because he can see the bigger picture. It's pretty cut and dry.

Also, I'll say it one more time since my last post about it got buried, the look Tyrion gives the door is clearly because he has joined Jorah and Daario in the Dany Unrequited Love Squad. It's quite obvious. It's a continuous cycle of every major male adviser in her story arc.

I don't know - there's definitely something up with not knowing what Tyrion said to Cersei in that room and the look on his face at the end. I'm curious where that goes

I reject this purely because I think that'd be stupid as hell and a really bad look for the writers.

Like did you see some of the telegraphed character writing this season? :crylaugh: I don't want Tyrion in love with her. Far from it. But it's a pretty clear recurring motif and explains Tyrion's motives way more than some of the things he actually said to Varys in that scene.

I really enjoy their smart and detailed videos, going deep into shows/movies. I feel like they hit the everyone on the nose here, even though none of it really bothers me because I feeling this whole season has been payoff for the last 6 seasons.

I have never once even thought for a second Tyrion is interesting romantically with her. I don't buy it.

Did it surprise anyone that Tyrion told Cersei he wasn't trying to tear their family apart? I think that may have been an indicator that he may betray Danaerys. I can see it being the other way, too.
