I know Dany would never do this, and Tyrion as her hand advised against it too, but it really does confuse me why she doesn't win the war for the Throne and then concentrate on the Night King.

I mean, if we're honest, she could win in 5 minutes flat, such is her superior position. Hell, she could completely remove Cersei's power base with some half decent negotiation and do it bloodlessly. There are so many different ways Dany could win the throne, that her deciding she would rather a truce/ Cersei's support is quite perplexing to me.

What deal could he have even made with Cersei, though? How does he walk out of that room with a win? Does he offer to take out Daenerys' future kids as a tax for her own losses?

Very much hoping that there isn't a betrayal from Tyrion on the way. I just don't think that would align with his whole character arc up to this point. He knows Cersei will never be good for the people no matter what deal he could possibly strike w/ her, and his whole thing is wanting to "make the world a better place." I took his upset look at the end of the episode as him understanding that Jon and Daeny being together makes things a lot more complicated and historically situations like this don't end well.

 

Yeah, being expected to turn on Tyrion would be more annoying than p much any cheap death.

If I was George RR Martin I would tell them that the ending is Cersei and Bronn getting married and ruling over the kingdom for the rest of time.

 

There is always a chance there was abuse or a similarly "dead to me" kind of act, but if that were the case I doubt they would have been casted together in the first place, so I'm inclined to agree

 

Does everyone think Sansa and the rest of the North will be okay with Jon bending the knee to Danaerys? Even though she should probably be bending the knee to him - no one really knows that yet.

 

Certainly not at first. But I doubt any of them are alive long enough for it to become a big thing.

 

If Dany were a man, as the son of the Mad King, would her claim to the throne supersede Jon's? If so I imagine that will bother her a lot.
