I had no idea that Sophie Turner was that funny. I lost it when she did that airhorn noise.

 

god I would watch so many shitty sister/bff style comedies starring these two. i'd be there opening night for every one.

 

Been waiting for Sophie to have a big breakout in a comedy role. She did an incredibly stupid video for us a couple years back that I find both hilarious and endearing all at the same time.

 

They revealed that last season.

 

I'm afraid the show isn't smart enough to handle time travel paradoxes well, so I'm hoping the Bran is NK theories are nonsense.

 

That's true but it hasn't been revealed to any of the characters yet. Except Bran

Not to the characters. A cursory understanding of filmmaking confirms it to the audience.

 

Unless you are dense, yes it has. Plus HBO released an offical infographic last year this time that confirms it.

 

Its been discussed here before. Probably about 75% of people I know who love the show and watch it weekly have no idea at all. I wouldn't consider that to be revealed.

 

"Explicitly" is the key word. I mean, it's been heavily, heavily implied but the main point is that revealing it to the rest of the characters is the important part.

 

Until it is confirmed by dialogue on the show a lot of people won't understand. Even then there will be millions of people who don't even know who R and L are.

 

It was revealed Lyanna is his mom almost explicitly....Rhaegar as the father is much more on the just "implied" side

I really hope the title of this episode+gilly's reading means we get a flashback

 

The characters need to know. The audience already knows. If individuals don't know, that's their problem but the general "audience" does in fact know.

 

It will literally take Bran telling Jon "You are the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark" to his face for things to be clear lol

 

"Rhaegar Targaryen is the brother of Danaerys Targaryen. She is the blond dragon lady. You know, Khaleesi. Lyanna Stark is the sister of Ned Stark, who you thought was your father. Ned Stark is the Lord of the Rings dude."

Haha I don't disagree, but I mean, they've been building to something...they obviously think there is something left to reveal even though it's 99% obvious.

I'm just saying, people overlook the fact that there are some out there (like my dad) who aren't obsessed with the show, don't rewatch, haven't seen season 1 in years, don't read up on forums, etc.

 

Yup. I have a lot of friends who are going to have their minds absolutely blown next Sunday when they reveal it.
