I'm not sure if I buy it, but it does seem possible. And it's one of the more interesting theories I've heard in a minute

 

Definitely an interesting theory and I have thought as Bran grew older that he looks kinda like him, but obviously that would have been hard to forsee in real life.

Yeah that Bran theory would actually be really cool and would also explain why he's so mechanical and vacant this season.

It would also explain why he's so important despite being the least useful character so far.

 

This sums it up pretty well. It makes too much sense that it's a trap by Arya - especially when you remember that she served Tywin to protect her own safety and didn't even try to kill him....but gave Sansa a whole bunch of shit for doing the same thing. And if it's not a trap, then both sisters' arcs make no sense. I guess we'll see.

 

I assumed Arya is aware of Littlefinger setting her up.

Someone said he hopes Arya kills Sansa because she deserves to die. It's been three days and I am still upset.

 

No chance, love them both.

At least based on the last few weeks

 

This week's episode was tense, though I definitely agree with the assessments made for the most part. I was fine with most of it, but Benjen situation bugged me a lot. Just seemed lazy. He comes galloping in and I'm just like "wait, what now?"

My wife keeps referring to the white walkers as the "Blue Man Group," though, and it's killing me.

 

The dialogue in the most recent episode was pretty whack. Jon calling Daenerys "Dany" was so awkward. I find they have like... no romantic chemistry.
Also what in the sweet hell are they doing to Arya's character? This came out of nowhere.

 

I am loving how the story is playing out. It is still the most entertaining show i'm currently into. I will say that this season's huge use of implication when it comes to communication, travel, and history this season is difficult to get used to.

 

I get the complaints, but we only have so much time left and I don't mind the time jumps because we are on the home stretch. I feel like we've walked slowly around Westeros for seasons, we have earned all character pay off and big set pieces

 

I do have hope that they stick the landing though. If only because GRRM has said numerous times he basically knew the fates of all the major characters. Just kind of seems like getting there is where the writers are struggling. I just hope all the payoffs are earned over the next 7 episodes.

 

My prediction on Littlefinger/Arya: Arya is playing Littlefinger this whole time...but littlefinger knows that....

 

I did like how Dany instantly called him out on it, though. The bit about her brother and "not the company you want to keep" line was solid, I thought.
