I thought about that; the crew might not know about the mountain but you just assume Varys and Tyrion would know somehow. But either way, it just seems like the mountain would make her more skeptical that someone didn't just revive the wight themselves in order to set a trap.

I still don't know how Jon was able to lift himself up out of that frozen lake with all of those heavy furs on.

So, what do folks think is going to happen with Dany and Jon? Think they'll just go for it, have sex and then find out that they're related?

Looks like the eye opens on the sword, some speculating Bran was able to use it.

It looked like Jorah was using daggers made of dragon glass. Did anyone else notice that?

So since NK inevitably got his dragon, but he did so before crossing the wall, you have to think the dragon is going to play a part in getting the army of the dead to the other side....

Possibilities here: 1) Dragon flies NK over the wall and breaks the magical spell, wights/walkers climb over 2) Dragon still breathes fire and is still magic, so it burns down (a part) of the wall or 3) Dragon now breathes ice so it freezes the water beside Eastwatch so the army can just walk around.

The pacing/timeline issues don't bother me as much as some people. I'm willing to overlook a good amount of "dragons travel at light speed" plot, because I mean we could assume the dragons probably fly pretty damn fast. I mean I know it takes months to travel between these places, but we're comparing on foot with equipment and multiple people in a dangerous world vs a dragon in the sky with one girl on it's back. Makes sense that the dragon gets there a lot quicker. I assume they were on that island for a day or two (enough time for the ice to freeze back over). It's reasonable enough for me not to be upset about.

I have a bigger problem with the convenient plot saves (Dany swoops out of the sky with a dragon, Benjen appears on horseback, no main characters can die at this point). And I can even take convenient, but it's been predictable which is even worse. Torn about what I want to happen next week because Cersei becoming frightened because of one zombie soldier (not even white walker but just a foot soldier) and joining up with her enemies makes no sense at all, but Cersei laying a trap is so predictable I'd just be annoyed Jon, Dany, and friends were too stupid to see it coming. I need something to happen outside of those obvious two possibilities.

    Okay, a couple of complaints.
    1) Considering what Bran has become, he's mightily underused and used only for convenience thus far. I feel like he's going to be a HUGE part of the books and Martin is just not giving the writers on the show enough information to use him correctly.
    2) I'm sorry, but the timeline is not explained well enough. I'm not saying it doesn't make sense, but considering how slow information and people have traveled previously, it's just too accelerated now. It might all be possible but it kind of throws a kink into prior events happening so slowly.
    3) The show is relying on set pieces a bit too much, and they're repetitive at that. How many drowning shots are we going to see? and the whole surrounded by white walkers on the lake was just too reminiscent of battle of the bastards.
    4) Benjen coming back at that moment was just a bit too much. It makes sense, but I just didn't like it.
    5) How long until someone realizes the dragon could be raised as a white? I feel like the only reason we saw the bear was to tell us it was possible for animals to become whites since I don't recall ever previously seeing that.
    6) Jon's plot was stupid and illogical by the shows standards. I also don't understand why he didn't get word to Sansa that that's what he was doing. He's left her in a bad spot. I don't buy that he wouldn't want her to know what he was doing.
    7) The faceless magic is so inconsistent and bizarre in the show. See my thoughts below for more.

Okay, now for theories as I still like the show a fantastic amount despite the above and previous episode complaints.
    1) Arya is definitely not out for blood against Sansa. She is playing little finger big time though I'm not quite sure how yet. She wanted Sansa to know about the masks because at some point she's going to be someone we least expect and I think she will signal to Sansa 'hey, it's me' and something big will go down. I think that's the only reason they threw that scene in there despite it not making sense and muddying the magic of how the hell it works.
    2) Bran will have some big things coming though as I said in the complaints, it will seem too convenient and contrived since we spend so long away from him.
    3) Will Cersei believe that the whites killed a dragon? I was thinking she'd be ecstatic that there's one less dragon, but at the same time, she will wonder how it was killed since no one else will claim to have slain it.

Just realised we've had no mention of how injured Drogon is after the battle the other week when he was hit. Spear seemed pretty deep in him, but no mention? Seemed to be fine mind.
