I didn't mind the anecdote Arya said about her father, just everything surrounding it. Arya thinking Sansa's loyalties are elsewhere is simply dumb. Arya would definitely understand why she wrote that letter.

I liked this episode but wasn't in love with it. Loved the banter between Sandor and Tormund. The fight at the end was cool and seeing Dany come save the day was fun to watch no matter how predictable it was.

This Arya/Sansa feud feels so meaningless and meandering. It seems like it's only a thing to keep Littlefinger relevant, but it doesn't seem to be working towards any sort of conclusion. It just...exists.

I've grown tired of Jon at this point. I get that he's obviously the main protagonist of the story, but him having plot armor so much has really become dumb and anticlimactic. I understand Dany saving him, but the way he stayed behind just to get saved by Benjen, who then just sacrifices himself, was so ridiculous. It just screams "Here's the reunion y'all have been waiting for, may byeeee."

And this romance between Jon/Dany feels weird. The fact that we know that they're related ia certainly one factor, but it is just not working from a storytelling standpoint. Even since epiaode after Jon arrived at Dragonstone, they've been hinting at this romance mostly through Dany and it's just really odd. Not to mention they write lines for Tyrion and Davos that mention how much Jon stares at her just help show it from both sides some way, but it's not working at all for me seeing it from Jon's perspective. Seems very one-sided, which feels demeaning to Dany's character, and ultimately just poorly handled.

This season has been weird. It's certainly been enjoyable to watch, but the show's flaws seem to be becoming more and more apparent. And I sure hope everybody doesn't suddenly just become buddy-buddy at the end of next epiaode for the timebeing in order to defeat the Whitewalkers. With six episodes left next season, I have to imagine the first half of it or so will be spent cleaning up the mess in Westeros, then the last half focus on the Whitewalkers. But I dunno, these showrubbers have certainly let me down before so I'm not holding my breath.

Dany needed a reason to see the night king and his army, what better way than needing to save the two people that love her? The benjin thing was lame and didn't need to happen though.

Travel issues aside these eps have been wonderful. I'm not one to nit pick over some subpar dialog

Yea, the line Tyrion dropped about Jon staring was out of left field. For one, they never showed that. And two, that one scene where him and Jorah pushed the boat out to leave for the suicide mission showed otherwise. Jorah looked back one last time, but Jon didn't. I thought that was a hint from the writers stating that Jon's not thinking about her that way.

I would understand Jon liking her NOW, but they never showed him staring at all so they could have left that element out.

I understand the show feels rushed and its development/dialogue has been weak, but I'm thoroughly still loving this.

I mean, I guess they still needed to prove to Dany that it was all real but why do they even think that Cersei would believe them when her own bodyguard is a zombie?

I don't know, the suicide mission is bad enough but to rush the plot to conveniently get so many main characters together was sloppy execution.

And the amazing revelation that if you kill the Night King all the walkers die was awesome. Love how easily that came together

Since they got to that conclusion why not take the 2 remaining dragons and burn him real quick?

lol...seriously might as well have had the line be that..."There's not enough time...we only have one episode left this season and we can't be wasting time on me explaining to another child of my siblings what I am how I got here and why I can't go to the wall with you"

What a messy episode. Exciting, and it did some necessary stuff, but it was a sloppy piece as a whole. I've liked the season but this episode was a lot of their weaknesses at their worst. It was barely functional.

I think as far as we know, fire doesn't do anything to the White Walkers.

Granted, we've never seen them actually getting engulfed with the flames coming straight from a dragon's mouth, but every other time they've been near flames the flames just kinda dissipate and go away

I liked to think Benjen was just tired of "living" out there and the horse wouldn't have been fast enough with the two of them on there anyway.
