To be fair, we actually didn't see much of him post-cave last year, we only had two post-cave scenes and he didn't say a word about Hodor or Summernin those, which you could say was him slowly letting the weight of it all hit him

Snoopin', creepin', uppity. She is gonna go full Lannister by the time all is said and done. I don't like how she carries herself one bit.

100%. What part do you disagree with? They've gone to great lengths to show that her Stark qualities are all but gone, she showed jealousy at Arya clicking with Brienne, rummaged through Arya's things, and it took all of a blink of an eye for her to get too cozy in her "Lady of Winterfell" role. I find her easily unlikable.

Have they? They've never once shown her as a Stark up until the last two or three seasons. She's been a Tully but now is the first we've really seen her as a Stark. I don't think that was jealousy for Brienne, Sansa has never been like that. In fact her sending Brienne off can easily be interpreted as a rejection of Baelish's manipulation tactics. I just cannot fathom how Sansa comes off as unlikable and Arya doesn't. Arya literally said she'd rule like Cersei does yet it's Sansa who is becoming a Lannister???
Man, if more people share your opinion shit's going down in here on Sunday. I will fight 100 percent of you.

I can't tell for sure, but I feel like where she's at right now is trying desperately to keep people from getting the best of her. She's doing weird things to try to get a step ahead of Littlefinger and not get played....while actually playing right into what he wants. Littlefinger left that scroll for Arya to find because he could tell Sansa was weirded out by Arya's new set of skills, so that was the easiest way to drive a wedge between them. I feel like she wants to be in charge at Winterfell but she just doesn't know which direction to go, so we don't really know where she's headed.

How has she been shown as a Stark? She has been shown as loving her family and her old home, but in terms of it satisfying her or fitting who she has become, I don't think her character has given us any reason to think it will last. What do you think the Brienne stuff was, then? She watched them spar with at best a look of total indifference before bailing. Brienne being sent off can be "easily" interpreted multiple ways. Arya is likeable because she has stuck to a code.

Also, when did Arya say she would "rule like Cersei"? That's a genuine question because I just don't remember that line of dialogue.

This makes more sense to me. I still think she will wind up blowing it for the North in some way, particularly when Jon reveals he pledged fealty to Daeny.

Huh? All of that is from last week's episode. Nothing from my post mentions anything about the newest episode. You should have already known all of that.

Edit: Arya finding the scroll happened last week?

There is an unmoderated spoiler fest for GoT on reddit at /r/freefolk, and it is sometimes hilarious, sometimes awful, and always dangerous

This contains spoilers for episode six.

If anything, Arya is coming off as the unlikable one. And I say that with the full certainty Arya and Sansa are my two favorite characters. They both have entirely understandable motives knowing where they've come. But really, Sansa could cut through a lot of the tension and bullshit just by saying, "Hey, Ramsey raped me. Your journey has been difficult, but so has mine. In the end, I fed him to his own dogs." Sansa's lack of specifics allows for vague reactions from Arya.

Of course, Arya suspects Sansa. They haven't interacted in five seasons--which equates to about three years of time, yeah? Maybe even a bit more? Sansa in season one was The Worst. I DO think they need to overcome their former grievances on screen. They can't be instantly Queens in the North Who Don't Take No Shit together. But I do think the way it's being approached in the last two episodes is poor character writing for the sake of drama. But it's also a way to keep Littlefinger relevant.

    Garrett gets it. #QueenInTheNorth

I guess in the end she is more like her mother after all, so maybe not necessarily like a Stark. I don't think her character has anything to do with it. The Northern Lords are getting antsy, Littlefinger is a dick, and Arya coming home has made pretty much every signal that things aren't going to last is due to outside influences. Brienne wasn't sent off out of jealousy. Who else do you send? JUST Pod? Littlefinger? Arya? Brienne is the only capable person left in Winterfell at the moment and she is by far the most trusted.

Arya told Sansa to kill the Northern Lords who stepped out of line. Cersei and Arya both have the same exact opinion on what to do to people who cross them, that's her code. The only difference is Arya's hardships do not remotely amount to Cersei's so she hasn't been completely broken mentally into thinking that everyone has crossed her.

God, I hate that I sometimes remember they did the Sansa rape scene. Such utter garbage made even worse by the fact that now it will be cited as a reason Sansa is the way she is.
