It hard to admit that I used to defend that show. Maybe rightfully so throughout seasons 1, 4, 5, but everything since (aside from last year's premiere) has been bad.

at this point i've wasted so much time on the show that i am committed to seeing it to it's end, but "hate-watch" is a perfect way to describe it lol

Sam told Jon back in Season 5 I think that he met up with Bran crossing the wall

I hope they didn't use the show's entire budget on Drogon this past episode. Next week will just be sock puppets but millions would watch anyways

I was way on board for season 1, then fell off sharply for season 2. Now like about ever 2 seasons I'll catch up on Netflix. Just doesn't feel like there are any stakes and I don't find many characters likable and some of the characters I do like I guess are hated by the wider fanbase so I've resolved that it's really just not for me but Im interested enough to see it play out.

outside of TWD I'm pretty anti-spoiler but I think that it drags in such a way sometimes that knowing something absurd is going to happen motivates me to watch.

I was comparing the two shows to my girlfriend last night because she doesn't watch TWD. I said I started out with the same enthusiasm for both shows but TWD fell off pretty quickly.

At least when this show leaves off on a cliffhanger, it follows a lot of satisfying and entertaining scenes. TWD has gotten to where every episode is super boring but ends with some cheap cliffhanger that they don't even end up addressing for another five episodes. It's such a lousy way to get people to come back and watch next week hoping to get some answers. I gave that show such a break for so long but now I have no desire to watch and just read up on any sort of leak.

i don't mean to offend or jab at anyone but i also think whats turned me off to TWD so much is, their hardcore fans are SO annoying lol

i can't go to the mall without seeing 3 people in a "if darryl dies we riot" shirt, and its eyeroll central

GoT does zombies better than TWD and that's not even the point of the show lol

Hahaha I definitely don't disagree. But yeah, I went on a tangent because I had used TWD as an example of how GoT does nearly everything right. For example, last night had a cliffhanger, but I know they won't wait four episodes to show that Jaime is alive. And it also followed an amazing, action-packed episode.

I think the only time they've done a cheap cliffhanger is when they killed Jon Snow, but I think just about everyone knew he would come back.

The Jon Snow-Night's Watch thing was Walking Dead level bad adapting.

I'm ready for Bran to die. His character has been so dull for so long it’s annoying and now it’s even worse. Unfortunately, I think he’s going to end up playing a pivotal role in the end game and have to hang around still.

Semi-monthly reminder that The Walking Dead was pitched to HBO and they reportedly turned it down because it would be "too violent"....lol

I know AMC has a good reputation and all that but Walking Dead on HBO would have been fantastic.

Yeah Bran is way too important in terms of players remaining. His and Sansa's chapters were always the most skippable in the books lol

I'm just hoping that he has to sacrifice himself soon, but it'll probably be the last episode or something like that.

I could see Littlefinger making a run to kill Bran, bcause Bran knows shit and it would appear none of Littlefinger's secrets are safe anymore. But is that too obvious for GoT?

It felt so good to see the emotion drain from Littlefinger's face when Bran said "Chaos is a ladder." It was the first time I remember seeing Littlefinger completely awestruck with no idea what to do. Even after Jon choked him it looked like he had some smirky plot going in his head.

Bran knows everything. Remember what happened the last time Jon went into a cave with a woman?

    Bran Stark remembers.

As far as that actual adaptation process goes, it's close if not worse. TWD is just bad. Rarely do they take what Kirkman does and conscious spit in its face. The execution is far better but purely from an adapting standpoint, it's bad.
