This was basically me to my best friend last night, with the addition of "an Arya/Brienne buddy comedy kicking ass all over the world."

 

I did enjoy the Brienne and Arya training session too, but I felt like they shoehorned Arya's abilities into this season. We saw her barely train in fighting with The Hound, and she seemed to know every bit of Syrio's moves that she never implemented once in previous seasons. Now suddenly she's flipping daggers in her hand and breakdancing to get up, etc etc.

 

the episode kept buffering right when the dragon got shot lol, spent like 15 minutes trying to get that fixed.

so is arya the strongest character in the show now?

 

What was t Sansa said, Jon will probably be so happy his heart will stop? I see what you did there, Sansa.

Also wanted to point out the abrupt dismissal of Meera. Hated to see that.

Does Jon still think Bran is dead? I can't remember if he still thinks Theon killed them or not.

I mean she spent months with the Faceless Men and got her ass beat multiple times when training with the Waif while blind and not blind

 

i agree but shes served her purpose - her character really isnt needed anymore. wouldn't completely rule out that she will come back at some point since who ever knows with this show, but for now she really has no purpose. she did a great job though, it was a good scene.

 

Maybe Cersei becomes the Night Queen.

 

I mean they have well hammered home the fact that Cersei is in it for power and family alone, so...if Jaime dies...

 

As someone who likes to read spoilers, I often wonder in threads like these who reads ahead and presents confirmed information as their guesses and who just actually guesses correctly haha.

 

Speaking of Meera, it has been kind of weird/curious that her father hasn't been at any of these King in the North assemblies considering what he supposedly knows.

 

Yeah the payoff on Howland is gonna be something big considering they've sat on him for so long

 

But what old British actor will they get to play current Howland Reed? They're running out of people.

I'm thinking Jon makes it to the end, as does Dany. But, there will be a cost. I don't think Bran makes it. I don't think Westeros itself will be in tact in the way that it was. Maybe they'll adopt Democratic confederalism.

 

Maybe the North will melt and it'll become Waterworld.
