Yeah and that golden hand probably weighs a ton haha. But as someone else mentioned I meant it was weird how it went from land to the middle of a lake instantly.

To those asking about it, yes the gold (and half the Lannister forces) are safely over the blackwater and into Kings Landing. So cersei has the backing of the bank of Braavos now

What good does it do the bank if its in King's Landing? I thought they had to take it to Braavos?

Well it's in the hands of Tycho Nestoros now, so the debt is paid according to the terms of the Iron Bank's loan to the Lannister (or I guess the Baratheons). I'm sure he will figure out a way to get the money back to the Iron Bank

  5. Maybe they'll invest that money into those dragons instead now haha

They should do this and not change a single line.

I'm curious what they are doing with sandor as he had a pretty big role in the first episode, and nothing since.

Such a great episode. Like they said, it's so crazy how you're not necessarily rooting for a side but for characters on each side.

Jaime may be the worst living character so I thought it was an incredibly out of touch comment for them to make.

Did anyone else find it also a bit harsh to see Meera dismissed so easily?

Also, when was it confirmed that the gold made it to King's Landing? I could've sworn the last scene we saw the Braavos guy and Cersei the last thing he said was "....once the gold arrives, of course." *Cersei stares in certainty.*

The opening dialog to that scene was "the gold is safely in King's Landing." That is kind of a strange time to try and give information out.

I think movie/tv logic states that if you jump anywhere near a fire/explosion, several hundred feet of distance is added to your jump!

Jaime's charge towards Dany was the most intense moment in the show for me by far. I mean goddamn, my heart was pounding.

Also seeing soldiers literally turned into ash on the battlefield made real the tales of how the Targaryens used to just fly around and do that on the regular

In the first ep. He saw Eastwatch by the sea in the flames and the preview for next week I think Jon says that's where the army of the dead is headed so I think we might finally see some Brotherhood action next episode

Holllllly shit. I like....don't even know where to start.

I mean, that last battle...yeah we've seen the dragons do their thing, but not like that, not against a Westerosi army. All the shit you've read about Aegon's conquest and the Field of Fire, that's what it was like...just on a smaller scale I suppose. Holy fucking shit.

I fucking loved everything about Winterfell too. Especially Arya and Brienne omgggg so awesome.

    Djdjskaldjrkfoc I can't think straight.

That episode was fantastic. The Arya reunion waa great, particularly her spar with Brienne. The battle at the end was intense too. Loved it.

Only thing that's whack is the showrunners saying this is the first time they've ever had two main characters fight each other in a big battle like this on the show and I'm like "Uhhhhm Blackwater?"

Battle was cool without a doubt but the writing felt a bit clumsier to me this time around.

    The Real Azor Ahai

I took it more so as two main characters coming face to face in battle like Jaime and Dany did. Tyrion and Stannis never were even close to each other at Blackwater

My thoughts exactly, they're already far more tender, respectful and trusting of each other.

Yeah this is my thinking, Bran exposes Littlefinger - he dies at the hand of a Stark by the dagger that "started it all".

True, but Littlefinger did steal it from Ned after he betrayed him - which is undoubtedly enough for Bran to expose him and everything that happened.

I think this too and this may be the catalyst for the theory of Jaime killing Cersei?
