  1. Well I think she wanted to destroy the scorpion weapon which she did

Everything about this episode was great. Arya returning to Winterfell was just...wow...it still hit me despite it being my third time watching the episode. Also cant wait for tyrion and bronn to see each other now

Qyburn's probably making more. You cant take out all three dragons with just one

That was an incredible episode. Loved seeing Arya back in Winterfell

yeah I definitely don't think it's the only scorpion, but if they didn't take it out Bronn would have gotten another shot so she didn't really have a choice

So many different character reunions/interactions. I really enjoyed those

one of the most intense episodes of the entire series. just finished but heart still hasn't stopped pounding. ending feels like a bit of a cop-out (Jamie presumably survives, dragon presumably survives so the high stakes of 'someone might not survive this' were lost) but still, just fantastic television.

Also was this the first time since season 1 that there were three Stark at the same place at the same time? IIRC, Robb and Cat left Winterfell (and Bran/Rickon) at the end of season 1, so the closest we got was Arya arriving just too late to the Red Wedding.

I thought it was Dickon (Bronn's laugh was amazing) in the final shot as a red herring

Yeah I figured it was Dickon who saved Jamie, and probably died for it. But Jamie ain't dead if they were going to kill him off they would've just let him get roasted.

I would imagine Bran knew that the dagger belonged to Littlefinger? Maybe just wanted to see what he would say. Sansa upset about Arya pulling the oath card out on Brienne? And yeah, Jaime has to survive. Also agree it felt like a cop out.

  14. That battle was just excellent, absolutely my favorite battle in the show so far. You could feel the horror of it. If they can keep those battle scenes that intense as the story keeps building I'm excited as hell for the rest of the series. So much stuff in here that felt like I'd been waiting for it since starting the first book, incredibly satisfying and executed very well. Damn definitely top 5 episodes

what was with Sansa's reaction to their sparring?

I was so sure were gonna lose Bronn tonight. glad he'll live on at least a little longer. Tyrion watching him & Jaime go after Drogon/Dany was so powerful.

also, Dany, PUT ON SOME ARMOR next time. plot armor is only so thick.

I think all the other Starks reappearing is throwing Sansa for a loop in general. She's been "alone" for a long time.

wasn't that Bronn who saved him?
I think Dickon may have been roasted when drogon came down the line and Jaime first dodged him.

Was it? idk. It was probably one of the two, and likely they died doing it though if it was Bronn that would be sad.

I figured it was Bronn who saved Jaime, and assume that he lived so we can get a Tyrion reunion.
