We're traveling so finally watched the episode and...fuuuuuuuuck. C'mon man, not Lady olenna. Ugh. I mean she's an old lady so I kind of knew she wouldn't make it until the end but...damn it.

At least she went out making Jaime near-cry.

 

She went out the way she lived: as a stone cold badass.

 

I actually like that they didn't do anything too brutal with her though. They could have easily done an old lady death scene just for shock value, but they chose to end her story with her sitting at a table and has an assumed death off screen. It was a relief honestly (unless they bring her back next episode just to kill her on screen lol)

 

I was happy that it wasn't overdramatic. Jaime stabbing her or strangling her in my head was so ridiculous and there's no way it would've looked good, both with the actors and the story. Just not in his character in my opinion to strangle a helpless old lady.

 

I felt like he might do that when she told him about Joffrey. I'm also glad he didn't.

 

Yeah I'm really glad that scene panned out the way it did.

 

For as many questionable scenes they have in the show, they have just as many that are done near perfect.

Glad we have confirmation where Widow's Wail is. After Goffrey died we hadn't seen it in a while. So now all the known Vilerian steel swords have homes!

 

I think it'll end up being Jon, Brienne, Jorah, and the Hound. I dont see how Jaime can take a walker with one hand.

 

Just read a theory that Arya will kill Barnadette and use her face to get to Cersei. I think it sounds very possible given the scene from the last episode where her and Jaime were in bed together and Cersei let Barnadette into her room.

 

That's actually pretty interesting. But if anything I'd guess she steals her face and tries to kill cersei but fails. I really don't think it will be Arya who kills her.

 

There are all of these poetic reasons for why Jaime or Sansa or Tyrion or even just the general populace could kill her but sure, let's have Arya do it because Cersei was mean.

 

Plot twist:the mountain has a change of heart and kills cersei and qyburn to go join the nights watch

 

I mean I agree, I don't think it's smart writing, I just feel like it's plausible for this show to do something like that.

 

Oh yeah, not criticizing you haha. I just really hate that idea.

 

Haha yeah I didn't think you were just wanted to elaborate on my opinion on the whole thing. It would be a very stupid way to go.

 

I would love to see the mountain take on some white walkers.
