Yeah, I think there's still a 50/50 chance she will die, but I think if that's the case, is going to be through some sort of sacrifice to save everyone else or something along those lines. She's come too far to just straight up die from a battle... I'm thinking the same thing with Jon, actually. He literally can't die until his "purpose" is fulfilled.
You should read how Azor Ahai saved the world the last time the long night came heh... Also I don't see wholesale destruction of one of the Kingdoms happening. The North survived the last Long Night, im sure it'll still be around after this one too.
Jon is such a martyr and he hasn't changed at all since the first time he died. It's not a bad thing, he's the most honorable character in the show. But we all know where that gets you in the Game of Thrones. I still remember reading that interview with GRRM when he was asked if he saw an ending in sight and he said something like ideally it would be a graveyard with a bunch of crows picking at what's left.
Haha yeah that's sooooort of what I was getting at, although I don't think they would have laid everything out so plainly.
When Dany was in the House of the Undying, there was a vision she had where she was in the King's Landing throne room, it was destroyed and either snow or ash was falling. Assuming that's some type of foreshadowing, is this scene because of Dany and her dragons or did the White Army reach King's Landing?
When asked about all the information regarding Jon being Rhaegar's son, Martin basically said "well where there is smoke..." The prophecies absolutely mean something. Especially considering how much they've focused on Cersei's. He children all died and there's a 1% percent chance Jaime doesn't kill her. Rhaegar believed he was the prince that was promised until he read the prophecy and then he said he needed to be a warrior. He believed his son was the prince but said a dragon has three heads. The Prince(ss), the Warrior, and what else? The sacrifice? That's what ties me up.
I just wish the show would touch on that a little more if each detail were that precise or important. I know the books and lore go into detail about a million other things, but the shows seem to skim some of these things that I feel like should be important to know.
I have to disagree, although I do think he does eventually. Approximately 99.23745% of characters we've met so far are more-pointless than Littlefinger. With everything he's done and caused, I'd be disappointed if he dies in the next few episodes. He has more moves to make and more strings to pull... some of which I imagine will lead to his eventual death. I don't think Arya kills him when she gets to Winterfell. Or well, I'd be disappointed by that at the least. I'd like to either see Varys have a hand in his eventual death, after Baelish makes a bold or poorly calculated move to reach closer to his main goal. I want Littlefinger to think he's about to win right as he loses.
Definitely Ellaria Sand, probably Tyene. I would be surprised if Yara does on tonights ep, but she's def not in a great spot. Maybe some of the brotherhood if they continue that storyline
