at first I thought Euron's crew were cutting out gold teeth or something from Yara's crew (it was kind of a dark/brief shot) and then I realized they were cutting out the tongues of the survivors since that's how Euron do

Kind of wish theon would have died. I do not care about him anymore and any screen time spent on him will be a waste in my opinion.

Time to start thinning the field.

 

Reeeeeallllllyyyy hoping Sansa is smart enough to not be manipulated by Littlefinger whilst she's left in charge.

 

Yeah I'm thinking no good will come of Sansa being in charge while Littlefinger is around

 

Yeah everything seemed to be going so well, that's how you know everything's about to get crazy. I'm betting Lady Olenna's comments to Dany start manifesting the next couple of episodes considering Tyrion was the one who helped devise the plan to avoid attacking King's Landing...now the plan already failed and they've lost the Dornish army for the time being. She'll probably try to steer Dany away from Tyrion and Littlefinger will try manipulating Sansa into turning on Jon.

 

That will be interesting to see how Dany reacts to that.

 

I was much less of a fan of that episode on my rewatch. Kind of dragged on at points. A few scenes where the dialogue seems forced.

Absolutely hate the Euron scene. Not a fan of the sped up action with a million cuts between cameras (I think this was done, in part, so that you couldn't tell it was shot on a set - very obvious if you focus on the background). It has this weird villainy music in the background and Euron's actions/expressions have that "cartoon villain" feel. Really cheesy imo.

That said, I'm really excited for where the season seems to be heading. Next week could be big with the Unsullied going to The Rock and Hound & Co. heading to The Wall.

I've been thinking about Tyrion's storyline and I think it's going to take a major turn one of two ways... Either Dany turns against him at the urging of Olenna (she's already skeptical of the Lannisters and that skepticism is only going to get worse when they find out about the Euron attack), or Tyrion and Varys have been playing a long con to keep Tyrion near power so that he can eventually take the throne (I don't have any actual evidence of this, more of just a gut feeling).

 

My wild card theory - Tyrion is the Prince that was promised.

Not that I'm aware of, no.

 

I think everyone has said that every character is the prophecy at one time or another lol It's Jon, it's Tyrion, it's Dany, it's two or three of them.....or it's Davos. Or it's The Hound.

i think the theory with Tyrion is he's a secret Targ, too, and one of the three heads of the dragon, not necessarily tPtwP.

Yeah, if they came out with that when Jon Snow's revelation just happened and he doesn't know yet, it'd be overkill.

 

Dany will be the last big kill off and secret Targ Tyrion will run them dragons

I don't see Dany dying. But I also don't see her just outright "ruling the seven kingdoms" when it's all said and done. I feel like the Walkers will leave parts of Westeros in ruins (Winterfell and the Wall) and possibly making it farther for a huge battle closer to the south. If anything, Dany will rule some part of Westeros and Sansa another if she gets Littlefinger tf out of her head. Jon I'm still up in the air about.

 

I think Jon is more likely to come out on too honestly...but I Base that off of the story of Azor Ahai and Lady Mel saying that Dany has "a part to play"...

My guess is they won't really dive that deep into the prophecy tho.

 

I don't see her or jon dying, and doubt there will be seven kingdoms left to rule in the end
