I forgot to mention, that scene with Yara and Ellaria with her legs spread.. lolllll it was like a cheesy porn scene.
I loved this episode. Whatever y'all. It's Game of Thrones. You guys are complaining about things that are quintessentially Game of Thrones things.
I just can't believe there are people that have soured on the Dany storyline. AND YES, I MEAN YOU @Henry
Never been Team Dany haha. Now I'm just Team "Well She Has Everyone At this Point" Are you really though?
I feel like the name "Mormont" must have some kind of significance for Sam for some reason. Can't remember why, though.
Yeah, not to mention helping and caring for people is Sam's character at this point. Most of his arc from the past 2 or 3 seasons has been him being forced to step up and overcome his cowardice.
There was too long of a time where it felt like they had nothing for her character so she sat in a damp room for two seasons. Now everything is happening at once and I just don't care. They somehow made the most interesting character on the show the most boring. Its the part of the show I find least interesting at this point. We know the last ten minutes of the show are going to be Dany-centric, and I just don't care.
Not sure if it was mentioned during the episodes after Theon was tortured into becoming Reek, but Alfie Allen does a masterful job conveying that trembling, broken down personality. It's heartbreaking watching that shift. It reminds me of Jim Carrey's split personality in Me Myself & Irene almost.
I literally can't even remember what happened in the last two books anymore. The show is going to take over as my preferred narrative and I'm fine with that.
Yeah, I loved that this episode displayed that the general consensus among non-Lannisters is "ya know, that Tyrion is a good dude"
Kind of, but just because the show has always had sex and violence, doesn't mean you have to throw scenes that feature that in there. It has to fit the episode and I feel they missed the mark a couple of times this week with questionable scenes.
I was just talking about it last night with some people I was watching with. For as large a cast as this show has, it's incredible how few characters/actors I dislike in it. By comparison, Breaking Bad had a pretty tiny cast and I very much disliked a 1/3 of them while still loving the show.
Davos, Sansa, and Theon have been my favorites since season two. Brienne is up there too. Honestly this was the first episode in a long time that I actually liked Arya haha.
I think the reason I love Davos so much is despite all the ups and downs of the characters, every major character is either the ruling elite or of direct relation to them. Daario said something like "once I was nothing and soon I will return to it." Davos is the only true representation of the common class in the main group of characters.
Fan theory stuff I heard or read somewhere Gonna cringe at the end of the series when Sam is a master and writing his book and the final shot is him closing it to reveal the title "A Song of Fire & Ice"
