Shit, if Sheeran's cameo bothered people that much, I can't wait to see how people react to Conor McGregor.
Exclusive: 'Game of Thrones' director defends Ed Sheeran's cameo after singer received backlash from fans
I would have to deactivate my facebook account because of some spoilers alert, got to hate my friends.
Sadly some good and funny points. But no marriage Cersei is stone cold and unfearful. Euron didn't seize Dragonstone cause he thought he'd woo Cersei. He also wouldn't attack after docking there once rejected because he wants to be King. He couldn't usurp King's Landing alone.
don't really see how Sheeran was any worse than the Snow Patrol dude singing The Bear and the Maiden Fair.
I applaud the backing of someone who was brought on just as a fan of the show, as a surprise for a cast member and how at the end of the day they wanted to include in a small part and how sweet and humble a person they are - because he's receiving way too much bullshit over it, but even within that article it sounds contradictory and that isn't the issue I think most people have - the issue is really with the show runners/writers and not Ed himself. The show runners brought in his "superstar presence" in the way that integrated him and it into the show and just because he's known on a personal level to the producers and cast doesn't obviously mean the same relationship exists for the literal millions of GoT fans around the world, it was poorly executed which is why there's a lot of negative feedback. Sure, there are some haters who just want to spit bile because it's the thing to do towards Ed Sheeran - but there are those that were just disappointed with how it was handled compared to other musicians having roles in the show. Like I said though, that's the show's fault - not Ed's. I think it's interesting to talk about as it becomes a discussion about immersion and detachment through the show, but also get why it's annoying that it's becoming the main talking point of the show. Especially when The Hound was clearly such a highlight.
I re-watched The Children last night, and man is that one hell of an episode. The Hound's talk with Arya as he thinks he's dying is so well acted.
I'm pretty sure because unlike most of the other actors, i've never seen him in anything else. His character is so relentless, he's the most buyable actor for me. Consistency, he's tied with Tyrion.
I think so, I think that's what those scenes in the last episode were kind of hinting at. That way both him and his brother can both have been resurrected before they have their show down (I'm planning on them fighting too).
I'd still love to see it, but the Brotherhood is headed north to fight the White Walkers. Total opposite direction. The Mountain isn't going to be anywhere but King's Landing, so The Hound would have to survive the fight with them and then find some motivation to go way back south and go to King's Landing.
