I totally thought it wasn't going to work and they were going to leave the wall for an episode and then we'd come back and somehow hte Children of the forest/Bran would play a role in doing it.

That might've been the best episode of this show. Incredible villains, good character development, the Jon storyline didn't get dragged out, and just all around exhilarating watch.

Goddamn, I knew this happening eventually but I still fucking gasped at it.

 

It was inevitable so more just glad this its done with so we can move on.

 

The stuff in the North was the best once again. I mean the Boltons and Sansa/Theon/Brienne.

 

They were definitely using Ghost as a red herring in that scene. They probably showed him for 30 of those last 60 seconds

 

oh yeah, they definitely were. i thought they were just doing what game of thrones usually does and teases things beyond belief

 

Nothing has really left me exhilarated safe for the first couple of seasons, but it was good for sure.

Next time I have an idea like that punch me in the face

Yes it's legitimate. It's more annoying to me than anything. Every single person that even remotely follows the show predicted this. And for 10 months they denied and denied and denied it. Just to do exactly what everyone guessed anyway. And then people are shocked? Come on now. I'm glad everyone else liked it. Me, not so much.
