heh, that's why the wolf part is spoiler tagged and the ellipses proceed it? it not making sense without the wolf part thrown in is literally the joke there mate
The beginning was awesome.. the rest was all setup. Kind of a waste of 1/8 episodes or however many there is this season. Looking forward to what's to come.
It was all necessary (except for the beginning) but yeah, it was completely setup. There were good scenes but nothing worth coming back to again. This was completely necessary for the story though. I feel like everything after this will be very quick moving.
Yeah, I don't understand how set-up isn't necessary/is a bad thing. You can't have (good) action stories without a foundation.
You can still have setup and have more, you don't have to have just setup.. That's all I'm saying. Like I said it's not a bad episode. I just wanted a little more meat.
1. Not necessarily 2. I never thought it was necessary in the first place. 3. That'd be a really shitty way to see the Hound die.
People who were asking for "a little more meat," what were you expecting? After everything that happened in the last two or three episodes last season, what were you expecting?
I mean, it's an honest question considering there have been a handful of people asking for the same thing. Did you want someone important to die? I mean, I know this series has now been trademarked by shock value deaths and big battle sequences, but there's more meat to it than those elements
There is more to do it, you're right. But we didn't get that here. It was entirely set-up which again, isn't necessarily a bad thing. It makes for a slightly boring episode but the season will be better because this episode exists.
Not at all. There wasn't much story progression at all. Just catching up with where everyone was. Jon and Sansa talking in the hall again, didn't see Kahleesi (sp) till the end and all that was, was taking up Stannis castle. Nothing happened.. or very little. Bran showed up at the wall.. Nothing important happened really. Just stuff you could assume was gonna happen.. from where season 6 left off.
dire /ˈdʌɪə/ adjective BRITISH informal of a very poor quality. "the concert was dire" guess i didn't realize that dire was a british slang word? heh, whoops
I thought it was established that Varys was a master teleporter at this point, guy goes where he wants when he wants Also lol @ Horace Slughorn denying to let Harry I mean Sam into the restricted section
I always thought of it in the "dire straits" kind of way as in like a difficult or dangerous situation. Or like our "outlook is dire" which is like dark and foreboding. Not in a "this thing is a bad object. This thing Is a dire object" way
One thing that bothers me is that the White Walkers have been walking towards the wall for like 5 seasons? Yet, several characters have been north of the wall and back several times. To the point where it's like how is this taking so long for them to get down there? Anyone have an explanation for that?
