I knew what was going to happen in the opening scene as soon as I heard Walder's voice but it was still the best.

 

That's true but I don't believe we ever got explicit confirmation of it so you never know. If Tormund ever sees them I'm sure he could tell if it was one of them or not lol.

 

The scene with Arya and the Lannister soldiers was really fascinating. And the fact that she didn't is perhaps the most interesting psychological thing about this episode. Considering A) She has been pretty much completely psychopathic for the last several seasons of the show since the Red Wedding, this shows an air of humanity we haven't seen from her, and B) We just saw her murder an entire family, even some potentially innocent men, for following the orders of the head of their house. So the dichotomy between that and the Lannister soldier saying "I hope it's a girl. A boy will just be shipped off to fight in somebody else's war" I think got through to her on some level.

 

Yeah Wun Wun wasn't North of the wall, and Tormund wouldn't have let his body go unburned.

It's definitely just some random giants that we haven't met yet, and maaaaybe the giant outside the wall that took a giant arrow through the chest. But I assume he was burned by his wildling bretheran too

This episode was incredible- Arya, the Hound, Dany. Loved it.

I just can't imagine losing really any of the major characters right now. Feel like they all have a lot of story left to tell. Honestly Jon is the one I am most sure we're going to lose. Would be awesome for the power struggle of Westeros to be solely amongst women with Cersei/Sansa/Dany

 

Completely agreed. That was probably the most interested I've been in Arya in two seasons haha.

 

When I was rewatching last seasons last two episodes last night, Bronn's "she wants you to stick those golden fingers up her twat" line was hilarious to me.

 

euron's gift has to be dorne. nothing else makes sense, really.

 

I think the best gift would be Tyrion, but see no possible way for him to be snatched up as long as he stays with Dany.

Seen some speculation that it could be Gendry, which would kinda make sense as he's the last Baratheon bastard and she wouldn't want that liability.

Jaime being honest and blunt with Cersei was great to see/hear.

Also, how does everyone not know that it was the Starks who killed Walder and the rest of the Freys? She said The North Remembers.

 

I mean, as far as Euron's gift....He's at Kings Landing which isn't too far from Dragonstone, so my guess is he's going to attack Dany's fleet....maybe bring back the bodies of his niece and nephew? Those are the only two you would think for sure would be on the boats in defense of Dragonstone.

Or maybe he intercepts some of her fleet on a diplomatic mission somewhere (down to Dorne to pick up more troops? or the Reach?) and captures Lady Olenna or something? I don't think we ever saw if Lady Olenna or the Dorne ladies were on the ships, so maybe they're back in their respective homes and he's on his way to sack Highgarden or Sunspear and capture/kill them?

 

There's only one way this ends.

John flies to King's Landing on a DWAGON. He storms through the roof of the throne room. The dwagon blows fire at John's sword and it glows with the flames of a hundred suns and makes tiger sounds. Cersei goes wide eyed and begs for a moment to explain, falling over in shock. Jon stands over her and says "payback is a... bastard". He looks at the camera and winks before stabbing Cersei THROUGH THE HEART. Cersei then chokes back an apology as she REMOVES A MASK TO REVEAL IT WAS ARYA WHO WAS STAGING A MURDER ON CERSEI. The real Cersei walks through the door and laughs maniacally as we hit credits and hear Downing Pool's "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor". Stay tuned for a behind the scenes look at the new season of Ballers.
