Dany had already been to dorne where she picked up varys, and the sand snakes. We saw that at the end of the last episode, they had the dornish flags on some of the boats
The thing about Littlefinger, and this is why he's been so successful, is he's managed to make moves without showing his hand. Everyone who has made major power plays with their intentions plain to see has ended up dead or is a main character (or in Jon's case, both lol). We know what he wants but I bet you once he reveals what he wants he isn't around too much longer.
He told Sansa explicitly what he wanted last season: "Every time I’m faced with a decision I close my eyes and see the same picture. Whenever I consider an action I ask myself, "Will this action help to make this picture a reality? Pull it out of my mind and into the world?” And I only act if the answer is yes. A picture of me on the Iron Throne and you by my side." & I think you're right, now that he's revealed his hand in full, his time is at an end. Maybe Jon choking him out in the preview for next week is how he goes?
I cannot think of a way I would be satisfied to watch Cersei go. Cannot think of something horrid enough.
I think Sansa has always known he wanted her, I don't think this is as revealing as you're making it. Has he expressed this view to anyone else besides Sansa anyway?
I think the difference is Sansa knowing versus Sansa knowing and actually being faced with it. We're at the latter now. Also, Arya going south is the perfect example of why I always liked Sansa more haha.
I'm not sure Sansa trusts Littlefinger enough to draw a serious wedge between her and Jon. She doesn't seem to trust anyone besides herself and maybe Brienne, though, so who knows what happens with her and Jon Where I think Littlefinger definitely comes in is where the loyalty of the Knights of the Vale lie. Can Jon and Sansa keep them loyal without Littlefinger around?
So what's Euron's gift for Cersei going to be? Top three thoughts in my head: - Tyrion - Dorne - Lady Olenna
Especially with Lord Royce already not being too happy with Jon. He was seen to be upset about the wildlings being there in The Winds of Winter, and in the preview for next week, he's arguing with Jon that Dany can't be trusted. So yeah
i would never have noticed it until it was just mentioned. not like a huge similarity but a slight resemblance, imo
