I've been waiting for that Arya scene since the first time I read the Red Wedding over a decade ago. That was so satisfying.
The Arya thing felt cheesy and unnecessary and I thought the show had moved beyond those kind of moments. Her scene with the Lannisters was far better.
Perhaps Gendry sailed north from dragonstone and will be at the castle that Jon is sending the Wildlings to.
Unlike cersei dany doesn't need to sit on a throne to prove her power she goes right to the table to strategize
Wasn't expecting the Jorah Mormont scene. Arm's looking a bit rough. So Sam informs Jon about the Dragonglass and Jon goes to Dragonstone and meets Dany?
Good episode -opening got me pretty hyped -still not a Euron fan but at least they're finding a way to involve him in the more interesting parts of the plot. -the hound stuff was all excellent -I liked the Arya/Lannister scene a lot despite Ed Sheeran. Lannister soldiers being humanized in front of her was just really cool and interesting. -Was not expecting Jorah's story to end up here, one of the bigger surprises of the episode to me.
Danny sent him to do whatever it took to cure himself after they left Vaes Dothrak last season that's the last we saw him
It also doesn't make a lot of sense that Arya would ever just walk around as her usual self if she could wear the face of anyone else. Pretty risky. But obviously for Maisie's sake they will let her do it.
I told myself Arya in Arya form doesn't actually look like Arya to anyone but the audience, but I suppose that theory will break down if she runs into family.
Well didn't Ed's group ask "What's a little girl doing going to King's Landing" or something in that vein. So she at least looks like young girl.
