Would be a hell of a sight watching dragon vs. dragon. Wouldn't be surprised if this happened to be honest, haha.
Just thinking about it now, I don't think after the Stark children all scattered in Season 1 that I ever thought the first two to reunite would be Jon and Sansa. And then Jon and Rickon temporarily... Bran is closer to Winterfell than Arya is at this point (I think...The Twins and right outside the Wall may be roughly the same distance actually), so I assume he's next. I hope they all get together and do a nice tribute for big brother Robb when all is said and done.
So we're gonna be away in a house that doesn't have HBO on Sunday....Nver had to use HBO Go to watch an episode. I've had trouble in the past with getting shit to work when it came to hooking my laptop up to the TV...but I'd like to either use my laptop or my XBox one to stream it through the TV while we're there. Does the HBO Go app on Xbox One play the episodes live? Or do I have to wait until 10 PM for it to go up?
They go up within 5 minutes after 9 usually, but hbo go has a history of crashing on premiere nights so this week it might be spotty.
I'd guess The Wall and The Twins are pretty equidistant from Winterfell. Bran will probably be a little slower moving than Arya, though. but maybe he'll meet the gang in their way back to castle black.
Fantasizr: Create your own fantasy league out of ANYTHING. Last chance to join the GOT fantasy league, we're drafting tomorrow at 8PM EST!
I think Arya might be on a quest to kill some more Freys first so that might slow her down. She doesn't know Jon has been named King in the North yet. Would be interested to see if Arya goes up north herself after she finds out or if she meets up with the Botherhood on her way
By crash, does that mean the episode will start and then crap out after 10 minutes? Or that the app will be down for a while and eventually we'll be able to watch the whole thing when things calm down? I'm seriously considering just bringign my xbox 1 and an ethernet cable with me and using that to watch, I never had luck with getting a comptuer hooked up to the screen.
The whole service crashes and the episode goes up like 10-15 minutes late. But once it's up you (should) be able to watch the whole thing with no issues.
The last three seasons have also "coincidentally" coincided with HBO free weekend for most providers, so hopefully that won't be an issue this time around. Surely they've moved to larger servers since last season, too.
Yeah I was gonna sign up for HBO now, but my Xfinity account had a free HBO pass til the 31st. So I'll hold off for a bit
I didn't think I'd make it but I decided to do a full series rewatch this year and, despite neglecting it pretty early on, I'm down to the S6 finale. Probably get through that tonight, then full hype mode continues.
I'm finally almost caught up on season six, which I hadn't watched while it was airing. Just finished Hold the Door, and oh man... what an ending.
They are all in the same area so it'd be cool/funny to see Arya, Brienne, and the Hound encounter each other again as tired allies.
