Would be cool. But being that there really is so much story to work with in the GoT world, they would be cramming. Plus, even with the limited screen time, this is the one show where an entire episode could be dialogue in laid back settings and I still enjoy it. Because the actors, delivery, and storyline are just great. I truly don't think I can say there is an actor that I don't buy on the show, except maybe the Sand Snakes.
Yep, I would agree with all of that. The only way I think a one-episode-per-story thing works is if it's expanding on a character we already know quite a bit about. Like a Ramsay backstory or something. Or if it were just a single event like when the Starks "captured" Theon and took him from the Greyjoys.
GRRM eliminates Robert's Rebellion and Dunk & Egg as possible future series. He also said that none of them would spin-off from the current series and some may not even take place in Westeros at all. Additionally, they now actually have five scripts in development, up from the four that were originally reported. Good that Robert's Rebellion isn't part of it. Also love that Martin basically said the same thing I've been saying about why it's a bad idea.
Super stoked by that trailer. Really quick takeaways: no direct footage of Bran or the White Walkers, which sorta leads me to believe that the majority of the footage is from the first couple episodes of the season. (Though I haven't seen the episode titles yet, if they've even ben released).
Time to go to watchersonthewall.com to read the inevitable thread explaining every millisecond of this trailer Another quick takeaway: the Dothraki and the Unsullied are both shown fighting Lannister forces, so that confrontation is coming. Also looks like Sansa is being kissed by a Dornishman??
I paused the trailer because I thought it was John at first. Definitely looks like Ellaria Sand to me.
