if u care about this sort of thing http://www.vulture.com/2016/06/battle-of-the-bastards-game-of-thrones-historical-accuracy.html
Couldn't it be perceived that she has a false sense of confidence? If you watch the preview for next week, it's obvious she didn't even consider Little Finger would want (and expect, and be able to take) something from her. She essentially put herself in another, probably worse, predicament that she's already been in.
There is zero chance she put herself in a worse situation than Ramsay or Joff. Unexpected, sure. But not worse.
My predictions for the finale: 1. Cersei blows up KL with wildfire. 2. Dany sets sail for Westeros (Euron may or may not show up in time) 3. Bran learns about Jon's parentage. 4. The Night King brings the wall down.
On my second time watching through I noticed that Sansa at the end says to Ramsay "You haven't fed [the dogs] in 7 days, you said so yourself." But, Sansa had already ridden off by the time he got around to saying that to Jon and co. Easily explained by Jon telling her what was said after she left, I suppose, but I found that a bit interesting.
the finale is 79 (or was it 69) minutes long, supposedly Dorne comes back during the finale also. There are some spoilers out there, none of which have been spoken here, which is curious because not even speculation, but yea. As much as I want Dany to finally be on her fucking way to Westeros, I doubt we'll see it, she probably is gonna wait for Euron and that's that. There is an obvious new warden/king of the North in Jon, but Little Finger is going to try and take it. Cersei's thing will go down for sure, who knows how that plays out and who else is involved. Arya? Who the hell knows. Dorne? Who cares.
At the rate theon got to meereen it's not out of the question that Arya could make it to Winterfell this epsiode?
Yeah something like that. But still probably less than half the distance by boat as the iron islands is to meereen.
Would be cool to see Arya reunite with Jon and Sansa, but I doubt she'd be happy to see Little Finger.
considering westeros is the size of south america and essos is basically europe+africa together, there's really no way any of these travel lengths make any goddamn sense but its pointless because every storyline is as elastic as it needs to be. arya could be on a boat until next finale or she could already be in westeros and we just don't know. it's pointless to try and compare their travel times.
If there is one complaint I have with this show as a whole, it would have to be the complete lack of time, or the keeping of time. I'd like to know that it took 4 moons for Little Finger to assemble and ride the Knights of The Vale to Winterfell, or something like that.
Dany heading west and the Wall coming down are things I think might come later in season 7. My four predictions are that Melisandre will die, Daario Naharis will die, Sam will meet Archmaester Marwyn, Howland Reed will show up at Winterfell to speak with Jon in congruence with Bran's visions revealing the Tower of Joy situation to the audience.
