Yeah, FTR, those were Bloodhounds. Not the same dogs Ramsey had with him when he hunted that girl. Bloodhounds are great trackers but I don't think I've ever seen them attack someone without being ordered too. Chances are they got spooked by the horses/sword fighting.
The challenge I'm starting to have with this show is I am getting fatigued by the 30 different story lines. I hope they start consolidating them so we can begin to move on to the eventual ending. Spending 5 minutes or less with a character each show (and having a character not involved for an entire season) is getting frustrating.
I just keep saying "Melisandre is 137 years old." Like Eddie Murphy from Coming to America. This is probably only hilarious to me.
I agree but the only thing is Theon said to Sansa that crossing the river is a better option, since he knows what those dogs can do. Unless he thought they were the ones that mauled that girl awhile back.
If Tormund and the Wildlings do come back for Jon, is the end result assumed to be that the entire night's watch besides those in that room are going to be slaughtered? Because I don't see them just standing now once the Wildlings arrive. I guess they could though if they see that they are vastly outnumbered. I'm just having a hard time seeing that situation unfold differently. Maybe what happens, is Jon is resurrected and shows himself to the NW. And then at that point they re-pledge their allegiance and fielty to him.
I was thinking Castle Black gets set on fire and then Jon emerges from the flames resurrected and then everybody stops fighting and is like "yo dis dat dude"
I like your way of thinking. I guess the best way to get them out of the bolted shut room is to set it on fire ha. But we get those shots from the trailer of them trying to knock it down. But who knows what will happen. Still fairly certain this is resolved next week. It almost has to.
Don't see the hate for the episode whatsoever, except for maybe the Dorne stuff...but who cares, they aren't gonna do shit.
I thought the disappearing of the dogs was silly, but it doesn't weigh the episode down for me at all like other things would in this show. Just an observation.
I liked the episode, set things up nicely I think. My episode had all the Dany parts with russian subtitles though so need to rewatch that later with a better copy.
It's well within your rights to nitpick every damn thing on this show. But as a famous tv anchor once said, agree to disagree!
Isn't it a pretty safe assumption that the dogs just ran off once their leashes were released? Do we really need a scene of them running off and whimpering, or even getting killed by Brienne or Pod? Now if there were 5 soldiers and we only see 3 killed, then there would be an issue. For some reason I'm thinking of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves where Robin and Azeem are helping John Little's son; The sheriff's men have dogs ready to attack, but once the soldiers are dealt with, I'm 99% sure they run off, can't remember if it's shown or not.
If Jon is brought back and Sansa's group makes it to the wall, That will be one hell of a mash up of characters including Brienne, Theon, Davos, Melisandre, Jon, etc. Not to mention it'd be the first time any of the children of Ned would've seen each other since I think Arya saw her brother's corpse at the Red Wedding?
I don't want to spoil, but were the production pictures of characters ever shared in this forum on the old site, or here on the new one?
You're right I totally forgot about Bran. He didn't actually speak to Jon though right? They decided it was best to keep moving both times?
There were six soldiers only five are shown being killed. Saw this in a recap if it's wrong don't blame me.
Lol seems I started a shit storm with the dog comment. It doesn't bother me, I was just pointing it out as a plot hole. Just like how their clothes weren't wet after getting out of the river ;) Can't wait to see me some Hodor.
Wait, you weren't 100% outraged about such a small thing, you just felt it was worth pointing out?! Oh, how abhorrent of you, you vile, despicable lecher!
