Just realized ET features the first Tarentino beat with future on it since "march madness"

Also, "no compadre" sounds like a nuclear reactor melting down

The more I listen to ET, the more I'm liking it. Pretty much every Future track on it is good.

i don't know the etiquette on bringing back up a subject that ended on Saturday since this thread tends to be a little slower...but I will. While I liked Evol in general (only four songs really stood out, but it's okay as a whole), I agree that Future's stranglehold is coming to a close. I'm still a fan but he's released like four projects since DS2 and he's still rapping about the same thing. It's working for him, but I don't think I'm the only one who would really like to see him do something different.

he mostly needs to change his production. he's plateaued with what he's doing right now, which has happened to him basically every two years since he came on the scene. once he starts pushing again - which i think is coming after ET's "clearing house" vibe - then he'll be venturing into new territory

Not my favorite. Ty Dolla has done better-- I like his soul-tinged stuff most, and Blase was not nearly as generic as this. But hopefully there's some variety on the tape.

edit- Also come on am I really the only one who notices this?

    "wicked wicked wicked wicked"
"I got the keys, the keys, the keys"
    "jumpman jumpman jumpman jumpman"
"Got a hunnit racks bustin' out the wrapper, got a hunnit racks bustin' out the wrapper, got a hunnit racks bustin' out the wrapper"
"they gon think I won a grammy, they gon think I won a grammy, they gon think I won a grammy"
    "campaign campaign campaign campaign"

This hook formula is getting old af

Looks like another Mixtape, Forever or Never, is coming soon

  10. I hope Ape Shit or Beast Mode 2 / Beast Mode 16 or whatever it's called come at some point soon. 2016 Future is great but I miss the variety of last year's output.

Listened to Monster for the first time in a while last night—what a damn good tape.

Feels like forever ago but I'm pretty sure that's just cause of all the stuff he's put out since. I still bump Percocets though, I love the organ and guitar in that beat.

Listening to Pluto: 3D for the first time today. This is a lot better than Pluto honestly. The added tracks are fucking heat. Also I really like the placement of Parachute a lot better here. EDIT: Oooh shit and Astronaut Chick.
