I don't mean this as an insult but only on this site do I see when someone asks where to start with a hip-hop artist a bunch of people pick the most popular/newest album. I don't understand it id never suggest someone to start with Kanyes discography at Pablo or even Yeezus. Start with Pluto.
I mean, I want ComedownMachine to have the best chance possible at getting into his music, and I think if he starts with Pluto that might not happen. DS2 was the height of his popularity, the culmination of a year of putting out consistently great music. I don't think it's that hard to comprehend. To each their own though. That's not a knock on Pluto either because that's a great release. I just think his sound has evolved a lot since then.
yeah I get starting at the beginning, but isn't the run from like Monster through DS2 considered his best? And really just an impressive run for any artist putting out that much

Monster-Present is what I would always say. But Honest might be a good spot because it's not as thematically daunting as the stuff after.

I have this feeling too. An hour long, 17 tracks, been a year since his last project, he's been quiet as fuck since the start of the year, has collabs with thug one of which is probably on this album, major tour coming, and then there's that IG post.
