I apologize if my messages sounded like an attack on you but I wasn't specifically looking at your posts. I'm just wary of the fact that this forum is a White dominated space and when conversations about Future come up, he is not treated with the same respect as like Marc Demarco or whoever White men love. anyway I'd go more in-depth but i hate this forum & the pt is yall dont really like Black art so peace out absolutepunk
This is absolutely true, hence my Lemonade discussion. I guess I should not have assumed you were talking about me directly.
Note to self: if you like indie rock you are not allowed to say you love Future yet wish he made a more varied record
Most of the music I listen to is from black artists, I don't like indie rock very much at all, I love many of Future's previous projects (Beast Mode and DS2 are my favourites atm)... and I still think this album is very mediocre
I'd probably be into it if there were certain rappers featured, but I like this album plenty with just Future doing his thing.
Project ET has a lot of features and it's not great, most of them don't add a whole lot. Some highlights for sure but I don't think features make or break a Future project.
Even though I'm not allowed to like his art because I'm a ROCKER DUDE I just met with my bud who says he has HNDRXX and he's gonna send it to me when he gets home, will let ya'll know if it doesn't surface before then
I've only heard Draco and wowowow. I don't have a ton of time tomorrow but I really need to carve out a couple hours to immerse myself in this thing
It's a little weird to say "he should've taken the best of both and made one single great album" without hearing any of HNDRXX tho. What if HNDRXX is all hits? I know I know after FUTURE it's likely there's gonna be some throw aways (great future song by then by) and it's probably a pretty safe assumption to make but just wait and listen. It would make sense for him to release the better album second
